I think 2016 will be the year of bitcoin and maybe just a few of the other legit projects will survive.
Very possibly. Late 2015 saw a clear trend (with a few exceptions) of alts losing value against Bitcoin. It will be interesting to see if 2016 continues that trend (which would be dire for the concept of alts) or if there will be some reversal.
Well I hope that is the case. I dont see any hope in the near future for coins that are trying to compete with bitcoin directly, they will have to do something bitcoin cant do, to survive imo. Also I think this crypto scene will never be taken seriously by the mainstream if 90% of the projects are scams or p&ds so it would be great if this area was cleaned up a bit.
If the team & community allows the coin to use that time for growing than it will get a great future.
Yeah I see a great future for crypto once we get to 90% legit projects and only 10% scams but we have a long way to go.
Primecoin is a great coin to hold for a while.
I will ho with XPY will be a valuable investment

i would keep eye on freshcoin,kryptohash, maybe octane, and crave is on possible to show one trick more.
bittcredits is also potential because it faced so many problems and price is low, but it has active dev, and a huge unspend premine.(maybe a guinness record keeping premined coin a live.)
ufocoin has also something happening, sites down, wallets removed, no nodes.. and the current dev.. feathercoins bush.
basically what you are looking for:
price fallen, some upcoming dev mining/buying cheap and easy coins.
then comes the big update and roadmap to hype price up-->dump
thats the way it goes.

I recommend NXT, NEM, Qora and BitcoinDark longterm. All four are POS coins with offer strong tech and a great community.
nxt and nem are good but the other too dont seem to have popularity or promotions ,dmd has a nice long term plan and its value is quite average 70k sat.
