Litecoin has last chance to grow with segwit implementation i dont have anything against it but this is my opinion, like you mentioned in rest of quite in statement 1 dont trust anyone here do you own research.

I have been working on lot of coins till now according to my research i have come up with some good coin which has some bright future are XMR, LBC,Qtum. I made little profits with XMR,LBC and my main focus is on Qtum which is based on smart contracts. I hope it has some unique identification in market when it is listed in exchanges.

You should invest in Monero because all the ethereum investors I know are moving to Monero and that gets me curious and think something good could come Monero's way in 2017

My opinion is Litecoin. Why? Litecoin has development, solid stable and secure chain, etc. No, I am not a litecoin bagholder nor am i attempting to pump the coin here. I was accused of that last year when i held no litecoins. I do feel sorry for the people who invested at it's peak, no one expected that nor had they planned on that...

Diff is ever rising, though!

My crypto portfolio includes:

BTC, ETH, ETC, LTC, DASH, Monero, UNO, etc.

However a few investment rules.

1. Do not take investment advice on Bitcointalk. Even my advice is just my opinion based on my research.
2. Use your own due diligance ffs and if it seems too good to be true, it probably is!
3. Do not follow the herd off the cliff.

There's a good saying that goes;

"You can't get the wisdom of the crowd, if the crowd are not wise"

Too many people not putting in any research or asking enough questions.

I think everyone has been quite clear in explaining their reasons or criteris for assuming that an altcoin can succeed or not. Perhaps you need to read with a little attention the explanation that each one makes regarding their opinion.

i do have some altcoins and some bitcoin as well. I keep bitcoin for a longterm investment but i see some good altcoins where I could make some profit. I was looking at crreditbit a year ago and now it looks like they are still here with new team, so i put some money in it and im waiting for detailed roadmap for 2017, i think they could provide some good features.
I was also thinking to invest in litecoin but I think this coin is almost dead, nothing is happening by now.

Many of the picks made are excellent and will increase in value this year.  Two of the picks I have seen are severely undervalued in my opinion based on the work that is already done.  Most of the picks made, while solid, are either already discovered and have limited upside, or they don't have enough coding done to know if they will ever be completed.

+1 for Litecioin, this is the time for buying it. I think now is big undervalueted, Litecoin is worth much much more!

Many coins are being dump and pump we don't see any further development from them, even 90% of the coins don't have any innovative thought which make different from others. In recent launches many coins are just copy cats of previous coin only, even many dev's are keep promising we are going to change the crypto world but nothing happens.

I know this also see that btc is being dumped again or someone is trying to buy them cheap and sell them after 20th this month.
Maybe im wrong about thins but i have some strange feeling that this is intentional dump.

Most new coins are pumps and dumps but this is fact that is always present

Guys i think creditbit is a good option, it has a 8% POS and now news are coming soon, i alaredy bought some creditbit. check on www.creditbit.org

there are lots of them but it is easy to filter majority of them out. don't get overwhelmed with the numbers alone, 90% of them are obviously bad and dying altcoins which can be easily figured out.
the remaining minority is harder but you at least have a shorter list to work with, and in the end as long as you are only a trader looking for making money from trading into the pump and dumps nothing else matters apart from the time the pump happens and the time you join in.

To many coin to pick or choose or even guess what will be.
Maybe some announced ICO will do the trick, or some sleeper coin, or something else i dont know what will be.
I only think that could set in motion is megaupload 2 launch and think that all event after lauch will influence in cryptoworld.
Many coin will go up in price after this one.
