I doubt whether these exchange utility coin will survive a market correction, i know very well that BNB went down when the market went down because i was providing liquidity to some projects and i purchased them when the market was riding at an all time high valuation and when the market went down BNB went down along with the market, so it is not the best coin to hold during bear market, i will be holding only in stable coins or in Euro.

I think BNB is the best choice for you to invest for the long term, because I believe the price of BNB will still be able to increase even higher than its ATH price, so of course if you invest in BNB at this time (the price of BNB is going down), then of course you will get a big profit if market conditions starts a increase again (bull run).

If you are holding you better be making money out of it while holding. There are still coins that didn't really go below 50% from its ATH since the bull market. It must be a good hold token like this ETH. However this could not be a bear market yet because if it is, the price of BTC could have plummeted below $25,000 already. There is no stopping of downward movement if this is a bear market and no altcoins are good to hold.
In bear market almost of altcoin will dump, but a few of them still can pump if any major event orang announcement from the project, you must have data about the roadmap each project, but maybe stable coin is still the best choice.

Since you asking about altcoins. I will suggest the first option of holding in bear market is USDT or other stable coins. And second choice could be ETHEREUM. But in this case you must have the intention of holding it for atleast some years. And don't sell it in lose.

BNB is the best among all. Then you can go with CAKE, HT (Huobi Token), KCS (kucoin shares), OKT (okex). Not sure about FTT, but i'm not too interested to buy that token. Does that FTT token has some advantage while you buy it? During bear market usualy no altcoin can hold the bear. And thanks to crypto community they already have USDT and other stable coin. So in my opinion the best altcoin is stable coin during bear market. Or if you still want to get momentum to profit in sats you can buy some new legit ICO. So when the bear is out of market you can get optimal gain from bitcoin.

My last favorite coin is WPP Token (WPP). Check their project details. In last weeks when all alts drop in red they are in different position. Research and make own decision.
Is this worth trying? recently they switched from the ETH blockchain to BSC.
but I still have doubts if I see that wpp is not listed on the major exchanges that exist today.
If that is BNB, I would agree to hold during a bear market because that coin can increase back in the next bull run. Besides BNB, I will consider holding Ethereum as this coin is at the number two position and can grow. But BNB can be the choice to hold as the price is not too high compared to Ethereum, so we can still get many BNB for the investment. So two altcoin, Ethereum and BNB, will be my choice to hold during the bear market, and that coin is worth buying.

yes but it's still not enough to face the bear market. let's look back when bnb faced a bear market. at that time bnb fell from 35$ to 5$ during the 2018 crash market. although bnb had real uses, it was still not strong enough to withstand the pressures of a bear market.

During bear market everything will dump 80-100% and if we entered bear market ... it is a beginning of it and it will last few years. No matter how good the coin is. It is not true that utility tokens (influcind exchange tokens) will not dump since its utility based price is far lower than current pumped to the moon price.
