I try to put money on small cap coins with devs who have been active for a few years.That imo shows they will not quit.Look at BTC earlier this year and where it is now.The same could be said for some coins once they get discovered after the devs put out their tech.
Go for large cap coins like ethereum litecoin and neo who are being used in real life scenarios and are also backed buy coountries/companies.They all have great technology behind it and nice things coming out for them this year
ethereum still has always been at the forefront of altcoin used and the most promising to invest. This year it seems the ethereum also still be a very good choice to invest until the end of the year.
Yes, the success and outstanding technology of ETH in 2017 is gaining the attention of investors. However, there is no denying the positive improvement of LTC, NEO. That will be the real competition and worth to choose.
I think you should invest in altcoin that tradeable with USDT or some main currency. If you are planning to invest in altcoin for future plan then i will suggest you to invest in ETH, BTC and NEO

everything was good but the superior might be litecoin or etc. at the beginning of this year. If the end of the year later they all still have potential. but litecoin certainly is still forecast to be better than the other.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.
The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I think that energy sector and supply chain sector will see a good use of Blockchain technology on 2018.So pock one in each sector .As far as my recommendation go check power ledger and VeChain

this earlier in the year 2018 is bad for all the coins, so it's still a little hard the coin which one will be the best coins to invest in this year. chill out trips year 2018 has just begun.
I think there are a few high prospect altcoins, you can invest in 2018. The price of all of these altcoins has gone down in recent devastating market collapse. These coins would recover soon like Ethereum, Verge, DGB, Ripple, PRL, Litecoin, and EOS.
For me it is still worthy to invest with eth and some other alts like waves, neo, etn, xspec and the new ins. Eth was proven to be a good long term investment. Waves and neo they have good projects thus they are stable. Etn xspec are for long term investment also. And ins is still very new and its still undervalued, it will surely give you a good return of investment once it start to kick off.

For my favourite all time tokens and coins for 2018 year ETN, RIPPLE, ETH and Cardamom it's my suggestion for get good profits for those coins at end of this year. Because of I have already invested some amount in that coins and tokens.
I think it's better to choose the average and bet ETH, waves and NEO. Thus, we will be able to invest in stable projects and at the same time get a good profit.
