If you want a true profit like  x100 or more, you have to buy coins which are on less known exchanges and wait out.
(ITNS) Intense coin is one of them, i am holder of this coin and i strongly believe after it hits a larger exchange it will skyrocket. i got in on it then price was 30sat, recently it was at 420 ATH.
It is a privacy coin and  2018 will be about privacy coins. Devs are working on decentralized VPN client so the coin will have purpose.

My first choice is Litecoin .

For me still Ethereum is my fist choose when it comes in altcoin..
Ethereum already proven in the fast few months and hopefully it will continue boom this year of 2018..
I can also start my ethereum beacuse I heard a lots of positive feedback about ethereum and I believe it will bring some additional profit for me.

I chose APPC. This is a very good coin technique and especially on the blockchain platform, it has a team of professional and enthusiastic support, the community is extremely supportive. After selling the ICO it was up to Binance and it has now increased by 20 times compared to the ICO. This is really a potential altcoin for 2018 that you can choose to invest.

There are multiple coins out there right now that have the potential for their price to go 2x 3x or even 5x then being dumped. If you get in at the right moment then you can have some decent profit, however most of these new altcoins do not have a real long term future. They are just out there to quickly grab some cash and possibly you can profit off that too.

My pick for 2018 is DeepOnion for various reasons, and I really do not want to sound heavily invested by saying these (and I am really not, I admit that I've a couple hundred $ worth of onions but not more than that).
The team of DeepOnion is really active both on the development side, constantly fixing issues, and releasing new features and also on the communication side.
I have seen countless numbers of coins with fancy "communications manager" and "vice president of public relations" and other kind of bullshit positions however the experience with deeponion is that, if you have a question towards the devs or the community you can expect a clear and trustworthy answer in half an hour.

As this community is growing exponentially so is the price of onions. It just broke the 10$ mark which is still very low given the fact that the total supply of this coin is 19 million, so there is a lot more space to grow.

I could start listing all the "nice" features and anonymity this coin has (you can read the whitepaper too) but my opinion is that new tech can be implemented to any coin at almost any time so I value usability and the community a lot more as those are some pillars that can not be replaced/developed as quickly as new tech.

2018 will be big for DeepOnion and even if you are looking for profits, I can tell you that the price in 3 months won't be lower than now for sure

there are too many coins in the market and it is hard to find the best coin. But, I could suggest you some potential coin. They are Dash, Cardano and IOTA.

This is still the beginning of the year 2018 so it is still too difficult to see. but this year it looks like my prediction ethereum will ride high and become the new ideas of coins for investors so it can beat bch and btc.

Deep Onion is really undervalued

newbs are only buying coins that are still under .50cents because they think they have to buy "whole shares" of these crypto currencies, i cant tell you how many times someones asked me how many bitcoin shares i have.

so just buy coins with enormous supplies and you will probably make money

at this point you should probably just print off coinmarket cap from coin number 2-500

next take the print out and put it on dart board

throw darts at the board

where ever you land you invest

Main coin: Etherium  . The most undervalued altcoins for me at the moment are Bread, Simple Token, Kyber Network and Quantstamp. Great projects with super teams behind them. Still on very good prices!
