Zone Alarm

Yes, if you are on Windows ZoneAlarm Free Antivirus + Firewall is very good. Then regular scans with free MalwareBytes Anti-Malware will clean up any trojan or virus that might get past ZA. No need to pay a premium for good protection. Comodo is also great protection but a bit of a pain to configure. ZoneAlarm is all most need.

I like Eset NOD32

I tried all the others, for about ten years or more, always moving on looking for the best protection ever.
Sorts out all my trash email also  Eset smart security, just a couple of hours ago I clicked on a faucet link here.

And guess what, it stopped a trojan in its tracks.

So much bloatware in this thread  Grin

Use malwarebytes if you really need to, but you shouldn't be getting viruses in the first place!

Norton is good, but you have to pay for it. If you are willing to fork over some extra cash for an antivirus, Norton is probably one you should look into.

I would suggest avast + malwarebytes ,  both of them are free . Later you can buy the upgraded versions which won't cost you much. Also there is kaspersky and firewall.

The best anti-virus is knowing what 'download' button to click on, and what to un-check when installing bloatware...

(among thousands of similar practices)

How do people still get viruses?
