I prefer the old-fashion copy of Tom and Jerry and of course Spongbob Squarepants (even the newer season are OK IMO).

Exactly. Have stopped watching it at about the time when they spun-off the Cleveland show. I mean, what happened? But still, I gotta say that for example American Dad has a very intricate humor and is spot on with many typical behaviors we encounter in everyday lives.
