Go with Gridcoin (GRC). You can find out more details at https://www.gridcoin.us/

Choose the projects that are CPU-only to ensure you do not "lose out" against contributors with GPUs.

The great thing about GRC is that you win regardless of whether GRC appreciates in value because you have made a valuable contribution towards scientific research.

I've got a Ryzen 7 CPU and taking your recommendation I started using it for the scientific programs on BOINC.  Seems like a legit usage of my spare PC power.

However, I cannot find any information on how to turn my credits (over 500,000 now) into Gridcoin.

Is anyone aware of a video or tutorial on how to redeem credits for Gridcoin?

Gridcoin still supports GPU, why not use a coin that is entirely CPU Only?
BiblePay is entirely CPU Only and rewards coins for two CPU Only science projects: Rosetta@home and World Community Grid

NOTE: 38.5% of all BiblePay coins go towards Cancer Research (healing and curing)

Also in order to get paid for research with Gridcoin, you have to stake coins for many months!,
With BiblePay, all CPU science researchers are paid every day from the blockchain

BiblePay is the #1 Team currently contributing CPU cycles to Rosetta@home (protien folding, cancer research)

How to Mine BiblePay:
https://www.biblepay-central.org/en/documentations/mining-how-to/

I will try to mine Biblepay. But can you tell me how much profit I can make in a day
if I mine this with an ordinary laptop?

Was mining Gobyte with my GTX 1070-i5 4770 until mid Jan.

But, as I used my PC for mining only during sleep hours (7-8hrs approx) the rewards is like £0.10p per day according to WTM website. Worth mining in the hope the coins drastically raise in the near future?

It's very strange. Partners who are working with us with the same speed get 0.003 BTC per day.

now i am mining cryply
before this i also mine nimiq using sky pool
with 15kh-20kh i only can get around 30nim perday
i mine 16 hours per day

what miner and which pool your friend use?

Personally I use miner from truemine.org. They sell the hashes to NiceHash and get from they BTC, which pay for their partners.

Can you explain how can i mine in truemine? i create my login but i dont know to do now.

I want mining XMR, please tell me address pool best?

See http://miningpoolstats.stream/monero

I like https://www.supportxmr.com/ because the fee is low to compare other bigger pools and the minimum payout is lower then other pools too.

Can you write me in PM? I'll tell you more about service

Why via PM, why not just tell us all about the service?

What do you guys think about hexx coin?

It's main traits are very high anonimity (higher than monero)
and CPU only mining combined with nodes (2000hexx worth).

Has anyone tried it yet?

hmm, looking at https://nimiq.skypool.org/ - today 1st August 2018,

1 NIM = 0.00000040 BTC
So 0.003 / 0.00000040 = 7,500 nim

1 KH/s = 8.68 NIM/day
so 7,500 / 8.68 = 864 KH/s

hmm, so to get the figures you are suggesting, we would need to be hashing @ 864 KH/s, but the guys above all seem to be getting 20Kh/s - 40KH/s.... ( me 34kH/s with Ryzen 7)

I think perhaps you have your figures wrong....
or perhaps you are just trying to advertise the mining site you seem to like...

1 think i would say about skypool, is that is seems to report about half the hashrate of my miner...not sure why.

J

Ignore skypool hashrate comment, after 2 hours, it is now finally showing virtually same as my miner.....35KH/s

Try Nimiq. I get around 120 NIM's per day with an old i7 using 6-core so as not to overuse the CPU. Mining it thru Skypool. Skypool miner is very easy to setup both on Ubuntu and Windows.

https://nimiq.com/
https://nimiq.skypool.org/

+1 for NIM

I'm mining with 8 cores and I'm getting about 270-300 NIM per day

Thanks. Nimiq looks interesting. Below is the Ann thread if anyone is interested

i thought nimiq and nimiq(net) were the same. but it is not

+1 for NIM
With my ~40KH/s - 340-380 NIM/day

JSEcoin has just started it's ICO phase.
The webminer is running, you can CPU mine directly from your browser on any PC.
Another option is to integrate miner in your website instead of showing adsense adds.
Offcourse user consent is required first.
