I really like waves you can still get for relatively cheap since I have no doubt that coin is going to go up to 10 times in the next years, so to me that is a very safe choice.Buys for me in this dump includes Waves as well. But I would also consider Decred which is having a new low. Would easily go over 0.009 or 0.01 like it did a week ago.

Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency according to a CoinGecko website, and the safest crypto I know of, because bitcoin has a great reputation and its acceptance is very wide.
For now bitcoin is more appropriate for long-term investments, whereas if you choose short term investments ETH and Litecoin are the best alternative right now.

It really depends on whats your goal here. Long term steady growth or short term quick turn over? For long term definately, bitcoin,litecoin and ethereum. For short/long term with potential quick growth are Signatum, DeepOnion, Metal and OmiseGo. These are what I would choose.
