Hi - Newbie here..I would like to put down 1000 USD next week.. What would your advice be to me?
I think the best crypto to buy now is bitcoin cause its the main coin and its has one of most high exchange rate in the world of cryptocurrency . Also ethereum is best to buy now. But it depends to you what you prefer , if you want to know more read in the announcent and marketing topics. I bought some ZRX. Decentralized exchanges are the future.
I don’t why people keep investing into coins that are just new in the market and even whose white papers are not attractive either. No need to waste money on these shitty coins when you can have bitcoins at cheap rates. Bitcoins are the father of crypto currencies.

it seems that today bitcoin is the best coin to buy now because bitcoin prices are now declining and the right time to invest in bitcoin may be for the next few years and besides that ETH also has good potential and needs to be considered for long term investment

Buy Bitcoin. But since it is always better to invest in diverse list of coins, I would say aside from Bitcoin, you should also buy Etheriums as well as waves. Choosing these three is a very safe option so there is very high risks involved. But never be carried away by events such as FUDs spreading and dips. Just hold tight.

Investing in new promising $1.00 or less released tokens, with such strategy, some coins can get you 500%+ in couple of months.

I'm going to suggest that scooping up Deep Onion in the next quarter while its still cheap might pay off a little

You can buy litecoin or even dogecoin. Dogecoin is now low so i would advise to buy litecoin. Litcoin will not drop hard. It has the potential to grow more.

I will go with bitcoin for a long term and in altcoins I will choose ETH, ETC, LTC, DGB, WAVES as I don't see any negative news coming on their way and this coins will surely survive in long term.
Only Bitcoin and nothing else.
