I do suggest also that try those ICOs now a days because there are lot of promising ICOS now but it really long period of time but if it is successful then i could say that you can double or triple your investment from it

Yes. I think 3 months will be needed if you want to buy the pre sale ICO token too.
A month for the pre sale and another month for the ICO plus the counting time.
For me, that is still a short term investment. Others takes years before you could see the profit unlike the ICO where they grew so much just after the presale and the another after the ICO they are almost doubling their value.
