I don't really care for any energy drinks. I drinks a lot of diet coke and coffee that gives me my boost.

Diet coke might prevent obesity and diabetes. But the Aspartame in it will increase the chances of cancer. I take carbonated drinks only 1-2 times a week. That too in small servings (250-300 ml). And I don't prefer the Diet variety.

I don't drink alchohol.
As for energy drink I like redbull without sugar.

You mean that you prefer Red Bull Sugarfree? It has such a shitty taste. I had it once... and after tasting it I decided not to take it ever again.

And most importantly, it contains artificial sweeteners (Aspartame & Acesulfame K), which might be more harmful than the sugar itself.

i can't believe that people actually consume energy drinks.. it's so full of fucking sugar that i can feel myself getting diabetes drinking it. and then that caffeine high just makes me feel sick.

Energy drinks contain far less sugar, when compared to other carbonated beverages such as Pepsi and Coca Cola. A serving of monster energy contains about 25 grams of sugar. For comparison, a serving of smoothie normally contains about 35 to 40 grams of sugar. A 12 Oz can of Coke contains 39g of sugar.  Grin

doesn't make it any less sugary. i limit my soda drinking these days because those, too, are diabetes drinks.

i don't drink vietnamese ice coffee anymore too - i get nauseated as fuck with that thing. it's so potent.

You can buy 250ml Coke as well.
And in my country only size of Monster cans is 500ml.

The Monster 500 ml can is intended for 2 servings, isn't it? And Coke usually comes in bigger sizes. For example, the Large Coke at McDonalds is 500 ml, twice the size of a Monster serving.

You really drink half can if it says servings is half can?
So if coke put 10ml "serving" your going to drink 10ml coke every time you drink it?
And then coke would be super healthy because it have only 1,16g sugar? And "same" amount of Monster have a lot more!
Or you just trolling?

Monster per 240ml: 27g sugar
Coca Cola per 240ml: 25.44 sugar

So Monster contains more sugar...

One serving of Monster is 8 Oz (236 ml), while one serving of Coke is normally 300 - 500 ml.

took the 5 hour energy drink once. never again.

I just consume it, when I don't sleep and have something important that requires concentration such as an interview or a presentation, but other than that no, some people consume them because they are addicted to them

Hi,
Just drink couple of beers. They provide you with the natural energy of the malt and hops Smiley Enjoy it cold served.

imo beer is best Smiley

Beer is a good beverage, and it acts as a relaxant. But a relaxant is exactly the opposite of an energy drink. It helps you to relax and calm down. It doesn't pump more energy to your body.

But a lot of people do mix beer with energy drinks.
