ARMIS ... a high strategy board game that plays like Chess, Checkers, Risk and Stratego all at the same time.  Armis is specifically designed to provide a daily brain workout. Although the learning curve is steep you can rest assured that its not too complex for anyone over age 7.   Remember its a brain workout game so don't expect it to be easy.

The object of the game is to capture your opponent's Flag (which represents the country).  Each team is provided with 17 unique pieces, with various duties, powers, and movement abilities.  There are over a million ways to setup, the game is played on three planes: Land, Air, and Sea.

Armis is played in over 140 countries online at www.ArmisGame.com

Super Contra - When I was a kid, this was my dream game. I swear. I would cry for hours just to make sure that I am going to play with it.

David Brabens Elite on the BBC Micro. Saved all my money for weeks then bought the game and spent months trying to dock with the space station.

The best game ever was Solomons Key for the orginal Nintendo. I loved solving the Riddle of each room. I finally beat the game but it was hard as hell.  I wish they would make it for Xbox360 or something.

Ever tried solstice? I was playing it last night..impossible, maybe I'll cheat for once.

Wow! I am so not a gamer. I have no idea what 99% of the games listed even are.  Cool

It's never too late to start playing!

True, but I already get onto my kids for spending so much time playing video games. That is all they ever want to do. I'm too much of an outdoors kind of person to see myself spending all of my free time playing a video game.

Nice!! Was that not the funnest game ever? I loved it how his weapon was his detached arm used as a club until you found the first sword.
