I think ICO will be the best raiden. But it's really no longer raising ICOs. Maybe just 10%.
I think there are some few coin which has more demand is Cartaxi, Rega, Hacken. All these are very good coin in terms of development and has great community for all these coin. I hope in long term you can make lot of money with this new coins.
Cartaxi had ended. they want collect 50 millions dollar but now they only collected more than 8 millions. so sad for a good project like this
i was really excited about hash rush however I think it will dip below ICO price in between hitting the xchange and actually having a working product as people will lose confidence.

for october i would say Enjin. they already sold %90 (22 million $ ) and still have 9 days. their pre-ico was so succesfull and reached 12 million$. they have a good team and nice working with big users amount. i think after fork people will buy the rest of (10 %) enjin so you dont have so much time to get some .

I am more interested in buying ico tokens which are heavily underwater right now than investing in token sales.

My current favourite ICO is BurstIQ. They try to decentralize healthcare related data and build their own LifeGraph (protected trademark). This LifeGraph should predict risk factors and will be used for prevention cases. Access to this data will be provided and managed through smart contracts that can be created, modified and revoked by the owner of the data.
The team seems rock solid with well-known industry insiders. What I like most is that is flying under radar of most crypto investors.

ICOs will be a thing for a few more months, I believe hard forks will become the next big thing seeing how much money people are making from Bitcoin cash, if bitcoin gold is a success then hard forks will take the place of ICOs.
that would mean the end for bitcoin i'm afraid. Basically you'd be creating altcoins right off of bitcoins back. I hope hardforks will stop sooner than later. also, ICO's and forks have nothing to do with each other, one is a form of crowdfunding, the other is a change in mining and software by creating a new chain
Both are forms of greed, lets be honest with ourselves here. ICOs are 100% premined tokens, no risks from miners selling and crowdfunders won't sell for less then they paid unless they desperate. Digibyte for instance would be $500 million marketcap coin if it wasn't for the mining component that helps with distribution. It's a huge disadvantage to have PoW when it comes to coin rankings.

Against to BTC only a third of them are profitable, but the the maximum drawdown on the most unsuccessful from ICO -49% (it mean in twice). and the maximum profitability of tokens is hundreds and ever thousands percent.
So attention: there is a question. Maybe there is a reason to invest in good ICO and sometime it will be really profitable?
