only bitcoin for long term.

and for short term, also bitcoin, then Monero because of its anonymity features and also the fact that anonymity is the famous feature of the year so the price can still go up.
after that i am only having Litecoin under observation

I'm surprised that Sia (https://sia.tech/) has not been mentioned more often. Its high inflation rate and the high Bitcoin price are probably the reasons why the price for Sia was falling so much lately.

But nevertheless, Sia is one of the few coins that has a working technology today. It's the most advanced decentralized cloud storage platform out there. The software is running smoothly and the devs are working hard on improving the user experience and finding new customers and use cases. Minebox (https://minebox.io/) will be one of the first applications to use the Sia platform for their NAS boxes.

I am super excited about this.

Of course bitcoin is on my top list, but for the alt coins the best for this year is monero.

Yeah! bitcoin and monero are good candidates to stay invested in for 2017. Both have enough room to pump and get into new price range. Also take a look at ICN tokens and SNGLS. I think they are suitable for investors looking to stay invested for 4 to 8 years time period.
Most people here would really choose bitcoin since its the most top crypto currency of all time and no alts could able to surpass that no matter what. I would still invest into bitcoins and save or purchase even more since its price does really inflates on a matter of time. You mentioned about XMR which also a good candidate which some people on darknet already using it just like what happen to bitcoin on its early years.

There are two chance for incent, if they will get a pump at the first sign of the exchange site or nothing. In my speculation about them, it seems like the dev was very actively. And I was liking how they ways to managing his distribution and the promotional campaign.
Seems like to be a sound investment. But I strongly disagree about the other platform was running in incent umbrella like tokes. Looks like tokes a hurry project.

I think the old coins like Litecoin, Dash, Dogecoin and Etherium is the best to invest for 2017. With big Market Cap and always increase 4 coins last very I recommend. Don't panic when the price goes down, because no need long time will also rise again.

I don't know the best crypto currencies to invest for 2017, because there are no one in the world who know, what will happen on altcoins or bitcoins in 2017.
But we just can make prediction about them although it can be true or false and i think ETC is best crypto currency in 2017 because of many people especially from China who adopt it, and it will be survive for long time in my opinion.

Steem is another interesting coin. It has taken a beating from its high, but has a community and devs working to improve the user experience. As a social media platform, if it were to pull in some non crypto mainstream users, it could be big. The next few months may be tough due to recent economic changes but after that I think it could have potential.

I would say DASH and this is why:

- Very active, ongoing development with big update on the horizon next year (DASH Evolution https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7T-a2xm5c0)
- good choice of GUI wallets
- DASH has a high full node count (4256 right now) because the owners of a DASH masternode earn about 10% interest on the DASH they own
- Cryptocurrencies with anonymizing features are generally very popular and will continue to be popular
- DASH has been in the Top 10 on http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/all/ for a long time now
- development and community are funded by votes from masternode owners (dashcentral.org)
- Currently DASH is relatively cheap with a lot of upside potential: see the chart: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dash/

So especially if you are looking to make a long term investment, you can even earn a very good interest rate with DASH.

Actually Dash is a good one for investment, but i want the new one that really have a big and good future for the new alt coin. Because i don't have big amount of money, maybe like the stellar thing.

I completely agree. To add to that I would say:

- DASH price has been very stable short term
- Focusing on average users instead of only crypto fans should ensure a massive influx of NEW users (think about that for a minute)
- InstantSend is one of the most important features of a crypto today and very few coins have it, none with as much support as Dash

Best crypto-currency? Then invest in bitcoin, anytime, any year. Bitcoin is the best crypto-currency to invest in whether if its long term or short term it doesn't matter. Bitcoin is one of the profitable coin and the most stable coin from now because we can see those proofs especially on price.

It is dangerous to vouch on any cryptocurrency for the coming year. Most of those we thought could succeed failed. And some are still in a beta stage. We hope for a better ICO with a promising project.

2017 coins: Golem and Zcash. Smiley But buy Zcash much lower than now.
