Bitcointalk is the way to promote an ICO but before i will go with Facebook and Twitter because of the high user who can see what you are promoting but last month we got some bad news that they are blocking ICO promotion. Also steem is a big choice on promoting ICO.

Twitter is the best way of promoting the ICO and then one forum that is; Kora and Bitcointalk also. I say KORA because this is the forum which is no. 1 in the internet market and a huge base of visitors searching for new ideas daily and so the income method also.

The best social media to promote ICOs is with the capacity to handle millions of users in the world. Could handle everyone to reconnect whichever the person is. Can handle the world of intersection of the universe and can manage to connect everyone from different places. Can able to see whatever you post in the site. That is the good social media that best to promote ICOs such as facebook and twitter, including yahoo and google.

Most easiest method to promote ICO is Facebook and Twitter. But most useful method is promote via Bitcoin talk and almost all the traders used to read updates about ICO's. Further Reddit, Meadium and reddit platforms are the best places to promote. Youtube is also a good social media platform and that is a good place to show a ICO review in a very useful and attarctive way.

Best Bitcointalk and Steemit. Facebook and Twitter not much effective. But you can find community members from them. But for the investors, the best place is the Bitcointalk. Reddit and Linkedin are also good. many ongoing ICOs give more stakes and rewards for the Reddit and Linkedin campaigns. so from above 4,
1. Bitcointalk
2. Reddit / Linkedin
3. twitter
4. Facebook

It depends on the country there are countries that uses twitter as the most used social media and other are facebook so this two I think is one of the best platforms to promote an ico I have seen it in past ICOs for example etn its totally overhyped in social media and the result is a freaking sold out eventhough the project is not good enough.

The best among the best is the bitcointalk , because you will really hit the target market , unlike you are promoting your ICO in twitter and facebook less than 50% is the really market that is also the reason behind when you are joining to signature campaign of an ICO the stakes are higher than twitter and facebook.
in my opinion, almost all social networks that have begun active work in the direction of advertising various projects, including Yeko companies, have turned into advertising banners, not poets, where people communicate. I'm sure that all subscribers on advertising accounts are the same advertising accounts, not real people .

I'll go with Twitter anytime, any day. When you put the audience it could reach into perspective, it covers more ground. Though, recently, Twitter has taken a tougher stance on promoting crypto related contents. If that ban isn't on ground, Twitter would be the number one for me.
It has easy search options, you could see the number of people that interact with your tweets, as in, the number of people that view it.

Also, the number of likes and retweets would go a long way in promoting any ICO. It's easier with retweets on the platform.

With the ban on crypto there, medium has it for me

I use Telegram most of the time. Apart from that, Steemit have a good blog posts. These forum and members are helping to make decisions.

I don't think you are up to date with the current news of the crypto world. Most of the major social media sites have already banned ICO advertisements. Also its for the better of the crypto markets as it will prevent scammers from fooling new users.

I don't think facebook, twitter, instagram is a good way to promote ico. they blocked ico advertisement anyway.
I think the best ones would be steem, btctalk and youtube.
Youtube as a project owned by Google, will also prohibit advertising ICO, so it falls out of the list. Remains Steemit and bitcointalk.

All of these social channels are important, I think. But let's order by the most important channel, here are my opinion:
#1 Bitcointalk
#2 Twitter
#3 Facebook
#4 Reddit
#5 Medium
We are the same if I rank the most important to least important channels that is the best to promote an ICO. But I think my #4 would be medium and my #5 would be reddit. I think every one of us has their own opinions and top 5s and I think that is mine. We are so close but I appreciate your list. Good job Smiley

I think the best is youtube and twitter because you have more people using their and can interact with you and by that you will have more people watching you and seeing your advertisement and I think that is the best way to promote an ICO but yes it will take money and time and effort to promote your ico successfully.

Sadly some social media announced on blocking ICO but still we can promote ICO on other social media so the best I COULD for now is youtube because videos is more attractive to the eyes and easy to understand because of it's visual also Reddit and Twitter.

I agree on this matter. Steem is a great platform, but I am not sure if it is a good place for promotion. I mean, I am very new to it, but wouldn't people downvote the person who keeps promoting some stuff instead of just participating in discussions?  Bitcointalk announcement section is full of such things, so making your ico notiacbe there might also be problematic. Signature campaigns might do a better job, though, because there aren't that many of them. Youtube is a cool place for beautiful introductory videos on the project, but again, people will probably put dislikes if one makes too many videos on promotion. I guess it's pretty hard to promote the product and not to get on everyone's nerves at the same time, I guess.
