Why Facebook? I mean not all people there are interested in Cryptocurrencies. Bitcointalk is undoubtedly the best social media platforms to promote ICO as almost potential investors are here. Twitter is also a good promoter of ICO's. Reddit? I think that only discussion but not promoting.

I think for now for the best platform is youtube, but I think for twitter and facebook still in good condition too, although it ban, but with support from us, the campaign is still going well, so I think for this problem, the developer or manager must increasing the media social percentage in bounty program, to give excitement for bounty hunter

Cointrade - Bringing crypto trading to the people!
The best social media platform is Medium now. Because fb, twitter, and google adsense has banned ICOs.

I would also hit up steemit, but idk, steemit is so amateurish. Medium is the real deal now. Medium is so legit and people take it very seriously as opposed to steemit.

Bitcointalk is also a great social media place to spread awareness of your ICO.

I would rather that you built a great website for your ICO, and then wrote a lot of articles on your coin and its functions / possibilities. After that, just spread your blogs throughout the internet via these platforms.

While Facebook and Twitter have begun placing restrictions on cryptocurrency advertisements on their platform, I still think they are the best platforms for advertising, around. They have a wider network of people and word put up on them can generate lots of awareness. I hope that they soften on their crackdown on cryptos.

the best I think is from social media like facebook and twitter, but because now bounty social is very difficult because of the requirements, then some people prefer to do blog promotion. best only with forum signatures, because everything on the forum is those who already know what a crypto is

Of the mentioned networks, bitcointalk is an exclusively crypto enthusiastic users aggregation. And is a good place to advertise.
Reddit is too an open discussion forum easy to gather like oriented people.
Twitter and Facebook can be an easy way to transmit info to your followers.
But for Reddit, Twitter and Facebook, you need to get your followers somewhere else.

Youtube, I think is an effective way. Short clips and videos about the ICO will hasten the interest of investors. Who does not want to watch animated videos right? Even the laziest reader can connect with the ICO through vids.

But also, this forum contributes a lot to an ICO's popularity. I don't think facebook and twitter are effective though especially now that crypto advertisements are banned now.

Except bitcointalk, all of these have banned ICO. However, I think bitcointalk is enough to promote ICO because a lot of people are very active here. Besides, through different videos on youtube, people may get attracted to ICO

What do you mean which one is the best?
The best one is where you reach a lot of people who are interested in crypto.
That can be everywhere. All you need is to get people to follow you and you advice.

Take for example McAfee it doesnt matter which platform he will use, the crowd will follow.

Facebook, Twitter, Google has already imposed ban on Bitcoin. You can’t choose those. For now Reddit seems good platform to post ads. Beside, you can choose YouTube for it. Good luck.

Reddit is very good place to build interesting discussion with the public audiences but social media platform can become a good place too as long as you are not spamming it with so many ico post in your timeline anytime. Anything will be good in the portion. So many people are spamming social media with a lot of nonsense ico promotion without any gap to the next ico post.

signature campaign bitcointalk, we already know, that Bitcointalk is filled with cryptocurrency communities who are brothers. In this forum, everyone learns each other about cryptocurrency. then the next is telegram, because telegram has always been the second place for the cryptocurrency community to hang out or hang out, then website, then twitter, steemit, linkendin, telegrap,  blogger,  mediun

I think it is a multi pronged question. If you are looking to raise mass awareness of the project and possibly investment, then the big players will be the way forward, Facebook, Twitter etc. They will still, even after recent restrictions, bring the biggest audience to the project. The problem is will it be the audience you would want for the project. This would depend on the type of project, as you can target certain demographics without even mentioning blockchain/crypto if you have a suitable project, providing links that can then explain it in more depth. For example, projects linked to e-commerce, VR, physical products etc. could all advertise to draw interest without mentioning blockchain application, bringing increased footfall to the website with more detailed information.

* Medium/Steemit/Reddit/YouTube are all good (and free) platforms, with potential to reach large numbers if the marketing team is experienced. Clever promotions can go viral, and can all be linked with other platforms.
* Facebook/Twitter can reach large numbers of people, but lots of fake profiles and not necessarily the right target market.
* Bitcointalk and other cryptocurrency forums reach the right target market, but still limited in numbers and many members have no intention of investing, just looking for freebies.

Overall I think that advertising and/or promoting across all mediums is the best way forward, as each will bring the benefits of their individual platforms. Keeping people up to date on project progress, whether they are current (or potential future) investors is the key, and to do that, project managers need to be pro-active in all areas.

Edit. I missed Telegram out, but to be honest, I really think that only becomes useful once people have found the project via other channels. Maybe I have not grasped the full capabilities of it yet, so if someone thinks otherwise, feel free to correct me.
