Hi All,

unfortunatelly I lost almost all my cryptocurrencies, which I had in 2014, since I left them on exchanges.

Now, I only could access one exchange with 0.1 bitcoin, cash - goldcoin. Additionally, I have stille some ripple xrp coins. Now, I was wondering how to store them savely? If I download only the bitcoin wallet all the blocks are going to be donwloaded which is a lot of data.

Could anybody recommend me how to save the coins savely, I actually whould like to store different once. Since I also lost over 400 Dark/dashcoins, since I left them on an exchange....

thanks in advance
There is no doubt that coinbase is the best wallet.

You should buy a ledger nano S to safely store your bitcoins and other crypto currencies. Never ever leave your coins or tokens on exchanges it's not safe.

I have a question regarding BTC.

I have only coinbase account for store  BTC. Some airdrop and bounty campaign  ask BTC address. Then I always give this address.
Is this a problem or should I open a Copay or Electronum wallet?

Bitcoin Wallet is an app that lets you manage your personal Bitcoins. This one is by Coinbase. They're a reasonably trustworthy company in the Bitcoin

I have a Ledger Nano S which probably has been mentioned in this thread already. I like it as it is small and transportable. It stores the private keys to the cryptos that you purchased and since it detaches from your computer, it is essentially unhackable. There is a 6 digit passcode to open the device.

You mentioned that you have bch, and btc, and some ripple, so just go to Ledger website and buy one, it is not more than $70 at the moment, and you will have all your cryptos protected in there forever, since hardware wallets are almost unhackeable.

I would say metamask or myetherwallet for ethereum, but apparently they got hacked last week? I didn't have the time to get the full story.

Try to save your password in multy environment, not all passwords in the same place.

For bitcoins, I use coinbase and bittrex, I think coinbase is pretty safe, but again they closed numbers of unverified account, so my tips is: never all your bag in the same place. If you've a lot of money, I think a physical wallet like edger nano will be your best choice to save your investment.

Hello everyone,
I’m new to the crypto currency game. My knowledge about this industry is 0 to none. however, I’m very eager to learn And so I thought I’d start here.

Could someone please post a few commonly used  wallets for: every day use, and cold storage.

Thank you (:

First of all what coin are you interested in?
You what to trade &/or mine some coins too?

Mostly btc, nxt, eth.
I’m interested in all coins if they have potential for growth.

My main focus would be trading, no mining

than use Jaxx as a PC, Linux, Mac, Android or iOS wallet or more safe way to do it i s to buy a Nano S from https://www.ledgerwallet.com/r/3c45

Good luck & just hodl ;-)

You can use metamask..
dont forget your seedwords and password.
or else your acct. will be compromised.
its safe  when you using it in etherdelta.
and the last time when etherdelta got attacks.
my etherium tokens and other smart contract are safe...

thankful that I use it since start.  Smiley

Well I would recommend using official wallets of the coins
as for Ripple you can use gatehub

I have used it before and I am satisfied with their services, even tho I was unhappy because you have to store at least some XRP coins in the wallet so the wallet can work with all it's functions.

But for most of the coins I use the official wallet from the official BitcoinTalk Announcement.

give it a try

Would be multicurrency, thank you for recommendation. Some time ago I heard that there was some problems with registration at one of  the famous (don't remember exactly which) markets. What about now, is there tendency that there are too much new players?
