In my opinion, I only using the wallet download from the official page or create by the DEV, and I not like to use the multiple altcoins wallet, I afraid any wrong input address when I send the coins or receive, one coin for one wallet only.

MyEtherwallet, I really like it.low transaction costs and fast transactions, in addition MyEtherwallet is the most used wallet. I have never used a wallet other than MyEtherwallet since I first joined Bitcoin.
I use MyEtherWallet for ERC Token. Most of my acquaintances do the same...
Ledger and trezor are the best wallets. I prefer safety, that's why I use both of them.
The big disadvantage is that not all coins are supported on cold wallets I mentioned above, so keeping on exchange is a solution

I think that the most suitable for Altcoins created on the etherium platform is myetherwallet!

All wallets have advantages and in my opinion it can be said that almost all wallets are good. this is only a matter of taste and comfort.if I personally prefer to use Myetherwallet because I have been using it for a long time and I have not experienced significant problems when using it.
For me is Myetherwallet or MEW is the best wallet to store all you coins or tokens it is the most reliable wallet and almost all the people in crypto world using MEW. I recommend MEW wallet
I suggest you myetherwallet for altcoins compatible of erc20 because this wallet ia fast trasction and if you used a myetherwallet for safe download a metamask for security.

myetherwallet is best wallet for altcoin whereas public and privite key are providing and there you can exchange your coin and hold the coin.

MyetherWallet, If you want to make regular transactions. But you should use metamask. Its secureity is better. If you want to store coins for long-term holding, get yourself a hardware wallet

Soft Wallet: Metamask and MyetherWallet have worked quite well for me.
Hard Wallet: I was a Trezor user untill few days back, until i found CoolWallet S. Very nice wallet, do check them out.

If you want to stored ERC20 you can use myetherwallet it's safe and secured wallet I've never experience get hacked since I start using this.
Hardware wallets are always the safest. Either Ledger nano or Trezor. In case you cannot afford a hardware wallet or do not want to put money in it then myetherwallet and mycrypto are a good choice. if you want a mobile wallet then ethos has developed a very good mobile wallet as well as Eidoo.
just don't forget that hardware wallets must be purchased only from trusted suppliers.

If you are anywhere above $1000 in Crypto, investing $100 for there security is a must. Hardware wallets by all means are the safest to keep your crypto secure.
I personally use a ledger nano s and I feel way safer then the time I use to keep my tokens in MEW.
Another good option is to use MEW offline client, in this way your chances to get phished from fake websites are gone.
When choosing, you need to consider the security and reputation of the wallet. Personally, for my work I chose the wallet etherwallet - it is very effective for working with my altcoins, based on ETH.
