When you say what wallet is best for lots of altcoins, you will have to specify which blockchain the altcoins are built, there different coins all of them have their own wallet. But if you talk of Ethereum, I usually use MEW and it works fine for me.

If your alt coins based on the ETH blockchain you can use myetherwallet.com if you have waves platform of course use waves wallet that you can download on apps store or google play if you also using a mobile.
