Yeah, lets send our kids off to be molded by the government for 13+ years.. Every one of those public school teachers are government employees and therefore in favor of more taxes, more government, more pay, etc.. And their greedy always wanting raises all the time even though they don't even work all year, or long hours, don't get dirty, isn't dangerous, and make pretty good money already with benefits and all.. Easy job IMO.. Half of em aren't even that intelligent..

I have been kindof hoping that the schools closing would open up more competition for private schools.. Public schools waste half the kids time packing them full of garbage anyway, on top of the toxic environment teaching kids it's ok and normal to be transgender and shit.. Teaching them white guilt these days.. Fucking tiktok and slut acceptance culture.. Since when is slut shaming a bad thing exactly? Being outwardly/outspokenly/proudly gay is ok for kids that are too young for sex period? Neh..
It is NOT ok in my opinion to base your entire self image around the way you prefer to have sex, especially for kids.. (or think you prefer)

I'm recently single, but my ex had a daughter I raised for about 8 years and I couldn't believe some of the crap she would come home and talk about was taught/said/happened at school.. It made me furious at times, even in a small town in the country.. I can't imagine what city school must be like..

When I (hopefully eventually) have my own some day, no way I'm feeding them through that sheep shearing mill they call public "education" turning them into degenerates.. The catty teenage culture these days making them overly self conscious and quite often self-loathing because of it.. No wonder child suicide rates are up.. (supposedly)

I continue to have my doubts that Trump will stay in the race. Heis doing especially poorly with his messaging, particularly regarding coronavirus. I am not sure if he was getting bad information, or what happened, but he should not have said that coronavirus was going to "just go away". His messaging regarding Faucci is only undermining his own credibility.

Republicans in general were caught flat footed in responding to the riots, and corresponding propaganda. There is an average of 3 police shootings per day, and it was just a matter of time before one was caught on video by a bystander who posted it to social media to go viral. I think Trump's biggest mistake of his presidency was not sending troops into MN to stop the riots before they spread throughout the country. This is basically what stopped similar riots from spreading in 2016 in NC, and in 2015 in MD, except republican governors moved quickly instead of federal troops.

I have received 11 fundraising emails from the Trump campaign over the past 24 hours, and close to a dozen text messages, all asking for campaign contributions. It is clear the Trump campaign is trying to increase contributions. They are well ahead in terms of cash in the bank, but have been lagging in terms of money coming in each month.

Biden has an eutheusiam problem. About 2/3 of his supporters want to vote against Trump as opposed to vote for him. The Democrat convention is also before the Republican convention, so Biden will have been nominated before the GOP candidate will have been nominated. This also means the Democrat convention will be full of speeches talking about "Orange man bad". I think if Trump is not ahead of Biden by the GOP convention, the GOP should nominate someone else, keeping their identity secret until the last minute, this will allow the GOP to catch the Democrats flat-footed in the propaganda war.

Keeping schools closed is much more harmful to kids than it is protecting them from the virus. Schools in Europe have reopened without flareups in schools, and many students were outright not participating in school activities when children were sent home in March. There have been studies that suggest students received "roughly 70% of learning gains in reading relative to a typical school year, and less than 50% in math" in the last school year.

In Los Angelos, the teachers union are demanding the Police be defunded, Medicare for all, higher taxes on the wealthy, a ban on new Charter schools (their competition) in order for their teachers to return to the classroom. This is all about the health and safety of the children, right?

The recent Twitter hack should benefit Trump and/or whoever the Republican candidate ends up being (and Republicans in general). The hack has damaged Twitter as a communications institution, and will have diminished its credibility. Twitter has been a tool to propigate left wing propaganda. The latest hack was very obvious to most, but it could happen again in a more subtle way that may cause more damage to Twitter. It appears Twitter put too much effort into making sure their codebase was "antiracist" and not enough effort into making sure it was secure.

It's funny cause Joe is actually the presidential candidate who has been wearing his mask religiously since this whole thing started, while Trump didn't. Not a big fan of Trump not wearing a mask, it was a good example to set to people.

Yeah, you can tell he really isn't looking to his advisors and the medical experts (Fauci, CDC health experts, etc) just by the way he's been talking about the virus. I would assume (and hope) that an advisor has told him that people don't begin to die from the Coronavirus instantly, it takes 3-4 weeks or so.

If Donald Trump said something along the lines of "We're going to be taking this a week at a time, and if deaths start to go up across the country in 3 weeks we know that we need to change our course" Then we'd know that he is doing the right thing.

He's so entrenched in not wanting to understand how this works and everything going back to normal that he really is just looking like a fool right now.

Quite predictably it's not going Trump's way at all now. The massive push for reopening is causing a massive spike of infections. He's now claiming that death count is low but it lags a few weeks behind the infection curve and is about to start going up so I don't get why he's trying to defy reality here. And now he started threatening schools if they don't reopen, which is tone deaf to say the least. Aside from some antiwaxer nutjobs, parents generally don't want their kids to get sick.

Expecting 2020 to get pretty crazy, probably going to be real interesting once we see the Trump and Biden go ahead and debate one another. That shit is going to get pretty interesting.

We could see so many possibilities given the fact that Biden and Trump are both pretty old (77, and 74 respectively) One of them could get sick and die, or get sick and be ill during this time.

Coronavirus could either go poof or go into massive overdrive.

Economy could begin to recover or worsen based on the Coronavirus.

This is going to be a WILD 2020.

I think the problem on China lying is that we could've shut down travel with China (either coming directly from China, or who were there recently) much earlier then it was done. Now while this isn't a foolproof plan, and a large amount of people still end up infected -- but it does limit how bad the initial outbreak is.

Then again: Who knows if we are to take the warning signs from China even if they're provided at face value. I'm just saying that if we knew about how horrible the death and destruction was and how infectious this disease was, we probably would've been able to do something quicker. Or at least had that opportunity.

BLM wants Communism, they say so on their website without as many words. They are being enabled by Democrat mayors and governors, with the intention of making Trump look bad. If Trump is off the ticket, BLM would still work towards Communism, however Democrat mayors and governors would stop putting up with the riots in most of the country, and places like Portland would come under immense political pressure to put a stop to the lawlessness.

These people are causing these disasters to try to show the population how much we need them so we run into their arms instead of imprison them and hang them for treason as they should be under the law. This isn't about Trump, Trump is just an impediment to their goals, and their goals align with this chaos regardless of who is in office.

Trump has pretty radically changed the Republican platform and party from where it was even at the beginning of the 2016 election cycle. He was able to get a lot of independents and moderate Democrats to vote for him, but wasn’t able to get a lot of people to join the party.

Trump has mastered countering much of the traditional attacks via the media, however the media and other democrats have adopted and changed their attacks (the riots, and the Russia hoax), and he was unaware they were even dirty attacks until they were well underway.

As I mentioned, Biden is an especially weak candidate that most people should be able to easily beat.

Trump is currently unable to get any legislation passed Congress for the rest of his term, and he is limited as to how much he can do as an incumbent to change the polling numbers. Trump dropping out would probably mostly stop the riots and the lockdowns. The later being especially strict with the intention of making the economy look bad for the incumbent, which would no longer matter if someone else is running.

People love faux patriotism. It could have expanded his ratings just enough to bridge the gap with Biden if he was able to stay on track. As a bonus we would likely be in a much better position today if there was a massive war-like coordinated effort to slow the spread of the virus. Unfortunately Trump has an attention span of a 6-month old and he wasn't really interested to win the "war", just to declare victory.
