What I've seen until now: a torrent was downloaded successfully, it wrote "ended" on "active torrents" list.
I clicked download. An URL was generated and opened, but that one was an empty page.

On reload the torrent was correctly in the "torrents ended" page and showing something about actually zipping it.
After that was done, the download was working correctly.

Thanks for the awesome free service!
Hello, i am gonna check the problem in active torrents.

For the zipping, a torrent is zipped when there is more than one file in it, depending on his total size the zip process can take some times.

Thank you for your report Smiley

Don't stop to eat bananas please Smiley

Used the site a little last night, great service. Thanks for giving us the chance to test, Monkey.
Thank you Smiley
We are happy when guys test give us a good feedback (good feedbacks are also bug report) Smiley

Just noticed the little checkbox - to let torrents Seed after they finished downloading - when adding a new torrent.

Awesome! Smiley

EDIT: speaking of grabbing files through HTTP, I'm nearly maxing out my speed here on a 160 Mbit connection. But if you have a slow connection, it might not be the best solution no Smiley
Thank you Smiley
It's really cool that you can download your torrent at this speed Smiley

The torrent was in a paused state (and no way to put it into an "ended" state), so the Download link was not there.  Now that (I presume you?) it has been put into an ended state, the download link is there.

But downloading large files over HTTP is not the most efficient thing in the world... would be better if there was an (S)FTP type option.

We will look at this, but we have to code our own ftp server, we can't use traditionnal one such as vsftpd or proftpd.

There doesn't appear to be a way to retrieve the torrent once it's downloaded. What's the point of that?

Hello,
you should be able to get it, what's the problem exactly ?

Would like to suggest to add some retro colors to the active torrents and the torrents ended area (plain black & white is kinda boring..).

also, download speeds seem to be unstable 0.05-7MB\s (downloading from TL with lots of seedboxes seeding) , maybe a smaller interval should be set in order to provide(show) a more stable speed.
Hello,
We are not designers so I will have to search a bit to find good colors Smiley .

Yes speed is a bit unstable many people said me that, I will change refresh rate.

I have seen that my friends which my community manager and more, had tweet that we gonna add functionnality to direct seed torrents.
Everyone is against me x) so let's add it now xD

Maybe you are not a designer but you did a fine job with the site's design.  Wink

A checkbox for every torrent should be enough, its partially automatic, but your free users still need to do some work adding the torrents manually and not via RSS so it's not a big compromise to your buddies  Smiley

just got this error:
Erreur : SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
Hello,
Yhank you very much Smiley

Yes you are right Smiley

Yes the SQL bug was caused by the update, but it's ok now.

You can now add your torrent in seed directly !

Enjoy and share !

Error the torrent was not correctly zipped for download

 Undecided

Ok, it worked after 4-5 retries  Cheesy
It appens if the torrent is not zipped yet or if the zip has not been genarated for a strange reason, then it reset the zip process so it can take a bit long before being ready to get it.

Im very happy with this product, one question tho, how can u keep such service free ?  Grin
We are using power of love... And we sell all accounts informations to third company we also sell passwords because they are stored in clear in our database Tongue
No I am laughing Cheesy
In fact the big question is, how a seedbox company can't have free offer ?
The answer is most of them don't have any experience in programming or system administration. They install rtorrent on their server and sold space, there is no load balancing or what ever.
So they can't offer free offer because they don't want to pay server for it.

In BananaSeed we have anough experience to program our own system and load balance on our servers, we do not have "one server with 10 users", we have servers with "x upload max slot, x download max slot", all torrents are reparted on servers depending on their load at the time you add one.
With this strategy we can keep a free service, but we will add premium offer of course.
If you think it's strange, ask your self how Dropbox can offer free space even at his begining Smiley

If you have any questions, feel free Smiley
