OP should create a scam accusations or change the title because it's now a fact that the site is gone and scam.
I doubt OP would start a scam accusation since he doesn't browse the forum regularly. The account already have a negative feedback and a trust page it should be enough to warn most people in the future if they go back online.

If you want to gamble, make sure that you use the money you can afford. That is the best suggestion for people who want to play gambling.
We don't even know if that was his actual deposit since he only mentioned the amount. It's also possible that most of the BTC0.3 could be his winnings.

A better advice for those playing in a semi active gambling site is to withdraw your funds every time you're done playing.

Was it OP's fault that he got scammed? Of course not. Was it his fault that he deposited 0.3 BTC? Of course not. The OP does not have a fault. Why should he be expecting that the site he's been using all this time is a scam?

BetBit must have lost a lot of revenue due to this pandemic. Betting is now limited to a very few events. This might be one reason why they ended up gone.

It is OP's fault to leave his bankroll that huge on a Casino.  No matter how legit or reputed a casino is, Player should be responsible on how he handle his bankroll.  He just leave that 0.3 BTC on that casino for possibly days.  It would be a different story if he withdraw it and Betbit denies the withdrawal.  Though of course it is not right to blame a person on trusting the site too much.  It is just applying a salt on the wound.  I just hope OP had learned his lesson.

Usually if there is maintenance it will never go down 2-3 days, gambling sites if maintenance is only a few hours. Possible BetBit casinos scams.
Moreover, your balance is around 0.3 BTC is lost, I'm sorry to hear that. This is a lesson for all of us, do not deposit in large quantities on gambling
sites. In my opinion, BetBit casino closed the site and you have already lost your Bitcoin. There is nothing you can do, except accept what has
happened.

Thye are losing in the competition that is why they prefer to scam their players, 0.03 BTC is not really a big amount but they are not making money so they scam their players and close their site, so this is what you get from playing on gambling sites that is not popular and do not have continuous marketing.
It is not 0.03 btc but 0.3 btc Grin
Hopefully, he can get the important lesson from his experience, and not riskying that such amount if he can not accept that the site can scam him anytime.
We all agree that playing gambling will be dangerous if we don't have control, and still deposit more money because we want to win bigger money. If we don't realize, and the casino closed the site, we can not do anything, and as @MCobian say, we need to accept what has happened.
Next time, if you want to play gambling in other gambling sites, you better don't use more than 0.005 btc - 0.01 btc, so when you get a scam, you will not be too sad.

Pardon me but this kind of reaction seems wrong to me. You do not somehow blame the victim. There is always a presumption of regularity or of good faith. The OP, just like other gamblers, are trying to have some fun and probably also trying to make money out of it.

I and you and other members don't have to blame him because that is his money, he can use his money for anything he wants.
We can only suggest that he not repeat the mistake if he doesn't want to feel sad like today.
The OP is not making a mistake, but I think he uses too much money for playing gambling, and suddenly,  he got a bad experience and shares his experience, so we can say that his only mistake is to use too big money to gamble.
There is a chance to get a scam from any site, especially with the sites that we have been used for a long time, because we never know what will happen to that site.

They cannot earn the trust  back since they  already show their bad colors they already run the money of their users and there's no  revival among them by now. Maybe they will  create another site to continue this scheme so we should watch out for the new casino popping out since might the owner might hiding in a new name so we better  be careful to not get scam again.

Gamblers should be quick to take a hint or if there is a clue that the site will vanish in OP's case there is no warning or a newsletter if they are going to a maintenance mode, OP should create a scam accusations or change the title because it's now a fact that the site is gone and scam.

Big possibilities that they are no longer interested to continue as the business is not getting any visits, it's the main life
of the casinos having gamblers to play and taking those traffics, without it there facilitations would be more difficult to
the point that the site / business will go and stop operating. With the funds that OP left, .3 btc is not small it's really stressing
whenever you'll remember that you lose this huge amount just because you forget to withdraw it believing that the casino
will not stop operating without any advise.
It is mostly the case. If they plan to come back their gambling site it will be hard for them to regain the trust they got before so most probably it has a higher chance that this gambling site turned into scam.

Bad thing is that they didnt make any announcement in regards into their current website situation which is already down at this moment. We dont know if they completely ran away of their users funds or just having some technical problems or whatsoever but basing of into their mainthread, it seems that they did really turn out to be an exit scam. When it comes to trust issues then you cant really blame anyone to have those
impressions specially when you got suddenly down and doesnt have any warnings or announcement towards that. This is the hard part when you do leave out your funds neither on a gambling site or an exchange wallet etc. . As long you dont possess the keys of that wallet then theres no chance on retrieving it back.

Upon searching betbit in the internet, The only latest links about scam accusation on betbit is this thread. This somehow shows that there aren't many people playing/active using the gambling site because there aren't gamblers showed after the gambling site is down for a week.

So their would be so many users who would have not got money and they would have made money in such a way. This is bad because all such people money which is so important in this pandemic time has being lost in scam. This is also a learning for all that never to gamble with too much or to trust on such unknown sites.

I think OP should lock this thread already, his account here is not active anymore, he has been offline already and he does not bring this one to a possible scam accusation. We've seen signs here and I think that's enough already to conclude the reputation of the site.

You can hope that the site will go online, and they will answer your question, and hopefully, they will give your money back. But the chance is small to see they will send the money back to you, so there is nothing you can do.

Not nice because it's impossible for a site that has done an exit scam to come back, just be realistic, don't give ourselves a false hope, the earlier we accept the better, although it's not easy.

At least, by have that hope, that can calm down their mind for a while, even though that will not give a big chance to get the money back. And they can realize that what they risk is not worth their money because that money can be used for other things that will be more important to their life.

Actually  the sign is already given before they shut down the website. It's a simple sign but effective amas a warning if you found a website that always down you should decide already to secured your funds out even if its from exchange or gambling website they will surely close the website after that. it's a warning that I see many times in different exchange and gambling site before they close turn to be scam.

But the sign does not appear clearly to every gambler, and only a gambler who aware of something is wrong that can prevent the scam and from losing much money from the scam site. The rest of them will not see that sign, and finally, the gambler gets a scam without any chance to get the money back. We need to aware that not all gambling sites can stay survive for a long time, and only a reputable gambling site will survive and still operate for a long time.

this problem has not been solved for many days, which is why I advise all people who lost money through this casino to create a Thread in the Scam Accusations section so that it is possible to alert more people when they search on google. It is a fact that creating a thread in the Scam Accusations section will not bring the stolen money back, but at least it will make many people aware of this case and if in the future these scammers return with another site, who knows, it will be easy to identify them.

PS:

Don't be waiting for DT members to leave negative feedback on the scammer account, each person on this forum can leave negative feedback

well I really agree with what you say because when a website is exposed to scams and makes a lot of people disappointed then there will be no one who will gamble again in that place because in some cases many scams and websites are no longer activated.
Yes, because once that they exited, they won't even bother to activate their website again. They probably enjoying all the money they gathered and will forget about this website.
Or maybe they will create a new website to do the same thing, who knows what they will do after.
If there's nothing left for them for this business then they will surely no intention to come back and just enjoy  those money that
they've got from those gamblers who  left their balance inside their wallets. Or, they can also just
create another one to again operate the same business under different name.

there are scams that still continues to operate because not all people are going to find out about it so the scam site still earns  but some scam sites decided to shut down already and chances are they will create another one again  .

the .3 amount of btc that op lost could be a small amount to him because he can afford to gamble that high and he willingly leaved it on the said site   .  betbit casino is not a big loss but ill be happy now because another scam site have been shut down

@OP, I think you should accept that your money's gone without you can get it back. It is an important lesson for you not to use too big money to gamble, even though you don't use all of the money for a gamble, but that still big money for most of us.

Nice suggestion.
