I use BetBit Casino quite frequently. I have known the site to go down at random times and come back after a few hours.

It has been down now for 2-3 days and I am concerned it's just gone.

I had about .3 btc on there so it would be a shame if I lost that.

Does anyone have any information about this?
This is so sad but it seems you have lost your money for good, I always recommend people to never leave their funds on the casino and to only deposit what they are willing to lose during a session and this is why, losing 0.3BTC is not a small amount and depending on your income it could be difficult to purchase as much bitcoin, but this bothers me, just recently we had a Twitter hack and now we got this, if a casino cannot really maintain their operations any longer then return the funds to the customers or give them a deadline to do so, but as soon as those dishonest casino owners have some problems they decide to scam their customers and that is not right.

I go to the ANN thread and it looks like this is an old gambling site...
for problems like this, it is better discussed in ANN thread only, if they do not respond then you have the right to open the topic in the Scam Accusations & putting evidence.

I don’t want to sound harsh but once a casino shutdown itself chances are highly unlikely it will ever come back.If they do they make sure use another name and maybe after sometime shutdown again.I recommend to choose carefully the new casino now in the gambling section here and make sure to real a lot of comments in their official threads before deciding which to join.

That's so unfair for him, 0.3 btc is a huge amount of coin and it is not that easy to earn that.
But being an optimistic person, you should wait for them because maybe they go back to operating their casino again.

It is his responsibility leaving it there, either way. Skimming upon the comments here, and checking their ANN thread, it is really obvious that they are definitely gone. Not tryin' to drag OP down though, however there's nothing he could give his hope for - they don't even a bit of report 'bout the current occurences with their site   Undecided.

Anyway, always know when and which site to put such big sum amount of money 'cause nobody is reponsible when circumstances went wrong except you. Might be unfair to him but that's what it is.

If they come back, probably your lost 0.3 will go back to you, hopefully. But the next time that you will access a casino again, you should check first its reputation and the way it operates so that you will never encounter this same problem again in your future gambling experience. You can read those feedbacks about a certain gambling platform or website so that you are knowledgeable about its advantages and its flaws. Also for you to secure your funds, don't deposit with a huge amount of assets.

Tried browsing it and the same goes for me it displays "Site cannot be reach". Usually when a gambling site do this its either gone or something went wrong with its server. That's why it's pretty much recommended to look for good feedbacks and review about a casino or sport bet site and has been around for quite sometime like 777coin or Bitvest.

Yes, because if the owner are concern to their players, giving some heads up about what's happening will help every gamblers to know that everything is still okay, but in this case there's none, OP still have funds that he haven't been withdrawn, the team should provide updates from the Ann thread or perhaps give some enlightenment if they are still in business, otherwise, the team already scamming their players and no plan to comeback online anymore.

This should be a pretty bad move for a gambling site, This can be a sign that a gambling site run from their gamblers. 3 days are pretty long for website down given that this is a gambling site they shouldn't be like this on their gamblers. It's true that they should given a heads up on what is happening to their gambling site but it is the opposite, They are gone without trace.

I already tagged the Betbit Casino support account and already made flag to warn other possible victim. Please support flag against them here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2145 so everyone will be aware.
I don't think you should use BetBit's ANN thread as reference for the flag or your tag. It should be linked to a scam accusation or reputation thread like what @Rodeo02 suggested.

It's so sad to see many casino players that become a victim of an incompetent casino. I hope you can recover your loss. This should be a lesson learned to all user here that risking money to a not certified trusted casino. Don't risk money playing on them choose good reputation casino even though they offer lower bonus compared to newbie casino.

i'm here for support your flag

it is a difficult world full of many scammers and thieves - the only thing we can do is team up and collaborate so that nobody else gets scammed

This is obviously an exit scam, I remember I was able to access the site before and go through with their platform, but I was not really able to bet on the site. By the way, since most of us are already convince that this is an "EXIT SCAM", who would do the honor to red tag the account

Anyone from the DT members here?

I think the  better option is to open scam accusation and  support that accusation so instead of feedback the account will receive negative flag from members of this forum .

And  OP is the one who need to create that thread. Once created you can link the accusation in their announcement thread so other victim of that gambling site can also support it.

There is definetely a reason behind closing and it's not likely to re-open. If it does, then it's probably going to be under different name and probably new owner. Have in mind that in that case that is completely different casino and everything should be checked again from the start. But there are always good, trustworthy casinos to chose from.

Does anyone have any information about this?
Unfortunately, seems like no one knows any information regarding BetBit. Even in their official thread, there is no update, the same as their support, no one is answering. I am afraid that they totally shut down because of its quite some time since they became active.
Well expect that in the  next days that official thread will be locked and nothing information will comes from this company.
Because scammers will be always make their way to take your money.
Or maybe they don't. Because it seems like they don't plan on doing such wasted actions like locking the thread. It seems that they don't plan to get online anymore.

Thats their thing mate and there is no wrong saying the truth.
BEcause if this company is not scam then why  not update the players for 3 days  now?
Yea, the truth hurts but OP should accept it and continue to move forward.
Also, if this gambling site is legit, they will spread an advisory to each and every one of their players if there is any problem that they need to fix.

Also next time choose the old reputable casino to avoid this issues again.
It's ok to test new casinos but do not deposit huge money, let them prove themselves first that they are legit and they are going to stay for a long time, pick reputable sites like Bitvest to play and make it your main site site to do gambling you have a peace of mind knowing that they are the most trusted and stable gambling site in the market.

They don't have any official statement regarding on their downtime and it already past for several days so I assume that they completely gone for good since there's no costumer interaction nor owners presence on there threads, It's awful to say this but I think it's better to move on but hopefully they will comeback and give the pending money to their users.

We will never know when will a gambling platform shut down, that is why leaving your funds there is a big "no", same goes with trading platform. Some casinos provide notice or make an announcement if the site will be down or will permanently be shutdown. But, since there was no notice it seems they will be making their exit scam.

Sad to say, if that is the case there is no way for you to get your funds from their platform.

I don't really know that gambling site and it's a sad reality about some gambling sites. That's why we should really be cautious about choosing gambling sites to play. And even if it's a trusted or well-known gambling site, we should not put all of your trust and leave your funds.

OP might not be able to get back the money he lost, but I hope it will serve as a lesson for him. Exit scams are rampant here, and that he should be careful next time. Because no one is obligated once you lost your money since you are responsible for your own funds.

I think the official thread will be the best place to receive infos if something does change.
Its just very unlikely...
Nah. If you look at their ANN, there were no response to user's concerns since last month. The representative was last active in May 26, 2020.

It's not the first time they had issues with delay in payments.
No active support.
Website down.

Considering the above, it's most likely that they're gone for good.
