The team should have sent emails that they are closing the site. Those who didn't know about betbtc closing then they might not be able to withdraw their funds but I am sure that those who always gamble on betbtc will be able to know. Closing sites will always disable almost all except withdrawal before finally shutting it down. It is sadto see anothe platform closing after many years of running the site.

meaning they only announced the closure here in Bitcointalk.org forum? i thought they spread the the word everywhere specially in email in which the best place to connect with the players(though there are many players that already loss access in their email connected to the site) yet this way they must communicate before this forum because they have many players outside bitcointalk.

I can still access the website, but if the withdrawal period is already over, maybe you can send them a PM, and who knows they'll process your withdrawal. Their forum account is still active, so message them and hopefully they'll be able to address your problem.

On their last post about payments, it should have been done last week even it's delayed. BetBTC's account was online yesterday and I think they've got a peek on this thread and aware of your concerns about delayed withdrawals. As long as you're in and requested before they've announced the last and final withdrawal considerations, I think that you guys have to wait and just be more patient even it's already delayed as what has been promised.

I think that the 10 BTC figure refers to offers to buy the website and the domain, not the minimum withdrawal amount.
Anyhow, an email address is provided as well, so anyone with outstanding balances can try contacting the owner through email.

In my opinion, this isn't a lot of money for a crypto casino with a good reputation and a great domain name. I have seen some domain names alone sell for much more than this. (List of most expensive domain names)
But I'm not an expert. Cryptocasinos can probably generate a large amount of revenue, but I'm not sure how much money has to be allocated to marketing, promotions, etc. It's possible that they ran out of liquid funds to continue operating, but that's just speculation. I do not believe they were at a loss. As some have mentioned, they may simply wish to pursue some other opportunities, much as the Yolodice owners did last year.
