What on Earth is a dmBTC? - New Currencies Explained and Convertedhttps://www.betcoin.ag/what-earth-dmbtc-new-currencies-explained-and-convertedAs many of you have seen by now, the accepted currencies at Betcoin, which were segregated in a recent update, have now undergone some changes. These will affect nearly all players, the largest group being Bitcoin users. A dmBTC is a decimilli Bitcoin. The difference between that and the formerly used mBTC is that now players will receive 10x the amount of chips for every deposit. So if you deposit 0.05 mBTC, previously you would receive 50 chips and now you will receive 500 chips.
How Does this Affect Me?When it comes to BTC, the biggest difference now will be related to casino play. Previously on many games you could wager a minimum of 1 chip. This is nearly $45 USD. With the updated prefix, you can still bet 1 chip on a casino game, but now that will be $4.5 USD. We are big believers in the growth of Bitcoin and with its fiat value set to rise considerably over the next several years, we want to ensure that our players are still able to get plenty of value for their wagers. When it comes to the alternative currencies, these vary, but we did our best to ensure that 1 chip of each currency is worth around the same amount. So in the case of LTC, we are now using cLTC as the default currency, where 1 LTC = 100 chips.

How Much are my Chips WorthWe have added a function to your wallet section to easily see how much each of your chips is worth. Click settings on your dashboard. Then click wallet. Your primary account is the currency in which you will be playing. The conversion currency is what you would like the value to be listed in. So if you want to see what your primary currency is worth in USD, you can set the conversion currency to USDT.
Then if you go back to your main wallet, it will show you exactly how much 1 unit of your balance is worth.
It only shows this for your primary currency, so if you have multiple balances, select the a new one as your primary currency and refresh to see what each chip of that currency is worth.
