Bet on CS:GO using BitcoinWith the top 10 teams all being invited and in groups, BLAST Premier provides the best entertainment and proves that their format is one of the best for the CS:GO scene. Although there is still COVID-19 restrictions placed on the LAN parties aspect of tournaments, Counter-Strike has done a great job of transitioning to the online perspective. Players in their boot camps or at home have been playing online championships for a few months now, and this should feel no different for the teams involved. The Blast tournament provides a one-million-dollar prize pool with 600,000 dollars going to the first place prize team. Originating in Denmark, BLAST has been a hit for the past few years, and this year’s viewership only looks to be getting better. Now let’s dive into the teams and matchups.
BLAST Premier Finals Analysis and PredictionWith Astralis ending 2020 on a high note, their confidence seems to be back in top tier wavering form. Considered the greatest team ever in the Counter-Strike world, the Danish squad looks to regain their crown and #1 ranking in this particular tournament. Their lineup consists of Device, xyp9x, gla1ve, dupreeh, and magisk along with a sub for specific maps in bubzjki. The 6-man lineup has made a stark sweep throughout rosters in this game, as teams like Vitality and NaVi have also hopped on board to using such a strategy. Astralis boasts one of the toughest in game strategies and gun skill out of any team ever known to man, and beating them in any map will be a hard task for these teams. After a month’s break Astralis definitely look to be the favorites to win this whole tournament, as their experience in the past shows that this format and style favors them. Look for Astralis to seal the knot in 2021, and continue their dominance in style. They are my #1 favorite for BLAST Finals this week.
Vitality and NaVi are second and third contenders respectively to Astralis in this head space. Vitality have shown that they have the fire power and in game knowledge that is growing ever more by the day, and their star power has become enough to challenge Astralis in every matchup they play. However, their inconsistencies lie within their own shot-calling and confidence every time they face Astralis. In the grand scheme of things, this Vitality roster has won big things in 2020, but if they want to keep that up, they are going to need to be innovative and creative. On the other hand, Natus Vincere or NaVi as the fans like to call them, are back to shake up the room. S1mple, the world’s best player, resides on their team still, and when you have him you always have a shot.
Prediction:I would be lying if I said I thought that anything but an Astralis win would be necessary here. However, look for Natus and Vitality to keep up pace with them, and dark horses could arise with Liquid and G2 as well. Online tournaments have a tendency to be more random, but I won’t think that should be a problem for the Danish powerhouse.
