Yes, I'm an asshole
Unless Betcoin.AG makes it so that OP can open his account, there's no telling which one's on the right and the one in the wrong, OP has no proof like screenshots that would make the claim valid so Betcoin don't have any reason or incentive to try the possibility of reopening the account, it's a difficult thing, what OP is in and I hope that a resolution between him and Betcoin is a possibility. I can't even fathom the feeling of your money being held out because you're accused of something that you're not guilty of whatsoever.

Except that Betcoin returned OP's fund once KYC is done. This case is resolved, OP was flagged for abuse [and apparently tried to pull the stunt once more after he got the fund back], he got his fund returned. The only reason why this case is not marked as resolved in the title is because OP was not satisfied because Betcoin "did not" tell him the reason of his ban, which also untrue, given the screenshot he provided himself shows that Betcoin already gave an explanation.

Let me ask mods to get this thread locked, hopefully with this post of mine, summarizing the case, as the last post on this thread to prevent further confusion.

Quick update on this case:

Within 4 days after receiving his withdrawal, this user had his friend deposit and play under a different account for him. This is why we specifically put in our replies that we have the tools to detect syndicate play, and any additional accounts found will have funds withheld, including deposit.

This situation is a great example of why operators are regularly forced to seize winnings and why we have no choice but to seize deposits upon multiple violations. Once you let these people get away with some money once, they come back like locusts to feed on your ecosystem.

Furthermore, this is a great example of why KYC on suspected abusers often needs to take more time. We approved his in 40 minutes and he was back with a new account immediately.

We are glad that the OP didn't lock the thread, after all, because this incident will help educate the community, of what legitimate operators are up against on a near daily basis. Look for a new accusation, coming soon!

OP, betcoin will not share the email being referred here as they highly valued their players privacy. If you can provide us the said email and disprove them, that explanation was not given to you on any correspondencies up to this point, it'll be nice.

Otherwise, everything is cleared.

Well, to be clear, actually, everything got cleared when they refunded you, there is no scam happens from their side from that moment and this accusation become rather invalid as the problem got cleared, thus, resolved.

This is what I got AFTER my KYC. I got no email or anything when they disabled my account. Does Betcoin think its not stressful at all when you decide to just disable ones acc without giving notice? Ask around and see what you think. I have to hunt them down in order to make sure I get my funds.

I also didnt move thread to "scam/accusation" part of the forum. Someone did that for me.

Not trying to defend betcoin, but I personally think it's explaining enough, isnt' it?

Your account was disabled due to the game provider's request. Given the fact you provide that you use multiple betting sites throughout your life, it's very possible that the game provider took the action from your previous plays on other casino. They are all interconnected to certain level.

I will not venture deeper into what happened to you and other previous casinos and will strictly talking about what happens with Betcoin for this moment. Based on the screenshot you provided, their explanation actually heavily implies a possible situation that Betcoin goes to a length to ensure fairness to you.

When a provider ask for investigation and found an account guilty [thus, asked the account to be blocked], it's not uncommon that it entailed with confiscation of amount won. The game provider refused to "liquidate" the amount won and allows the casino to credit it to the player's account.

Given you actually got your fund paid in full, I guess betcoin actually paid you from their own pocket, as your winning were most likely actually being confiscated by their provider. And to say that you have to hunt them down, I think it's a tad bit overdramatic and exaggeration, as they'll still reply you within 24 hours, regardless you create a complaint here or not.

I hope this clarifies many things and removes any doubt left from this case.

Oh, please learn to quote properly.

And the thread is good to highlight how bad they treat their players

The live chat staff does not deal with security matters. We kept your chat account open when we suspended your account so that if you contacted us via chat, we could refer you to email. Once that was done, you no longer needed to chat. Both of your emails were responded to within 24 hours and your KYC review took 40 minutes, before processing your withdrawal. In the email to you, when you were paid in full days ago, we explained why account was permanently closed. The scam accusation board is not to review customer service. You are breaking the forum rules.

Oh? Do I understand correctly that explanation is actually already given to OP about why he got his account [initially] restricted and --upon KYC completion and you fulfilled your obligation to OP by allowing him to take his funds-- permanently closed? So this statement by OP is rather incorrect?

No mention of why you just disable players account without giving them any notice or how you ban players disabled accs from your live support so they cant contact you there. You are hardly "victims" here as this is common practice at Betcoin.ag. You could have also told me when and where I will receieve my KYC and not just dump it at me at a random hour " here take 180 minutes to complete this otherwise the link will be gone". Take responsibility for your own mess of a system.

You know what. it actually isnt resolved. my title said they deleted my account after I wanted to withdraw. its still deleted. And the thread is good to highlight how bad they treat their players

To clarify, is your account deleted or disabled? Your title said "deleted", but the opening post said "disabled", and those two terms seemingly used interchangeably and loosely throughout this thread, even though there is a huge difference between them.

To have an account deleted means it got completely removed from the service, access is permanently revoked and there is no way to recover the account.

To have your account disabled means they temporarily restrict access to your account, usually until some actions from your side are taken, and you'll regain access once everything cleared out. There are several possible reason that pushed a casino from taking this action, ranging from having their KYC check, a request from their game/sport provider for investigation, to something as simple as they trying to secure their player's account on the player's behalf, maybe from an access from unknown IP, or perhaps [if I may ventured a guess for your case] an accidental click to cancel withdrawal instead of the approve button upon email confirmation.

I see that a screenshot of message saying your account is disabled [or deleted] has never been provided on this thread. Perhaps you can supply us with it? It'll clear up several things.

As we have explained before, KYC can not be sent on demand, because it is faked incredibly often. The fact that this thread was moved to scam accusations after it was resolved and the fact that the player came back to make a comment, rather than marking it resolved, are great examples of why some of the larger sites don't bother responding to these bogus accusations any more. Why spend the time replying to accusations, when people will still smear your name?

We replied to both emails in less than 24 hours and sent the funds within 40 minutes after KYC was completed. If anyone has an issue with that, you are not going to like any gambling site. We will continue to take as long as needed in reviews for potential abuse and multi-accounting. We were able to resolve this one quickly, as there was not 100% evidence of wrongdoing. But if a reputable site is taking weeks or months to complete an investigation, its because that time frame is merited. When innocent players get caught in the crossfire, it is certainly unfortunate, but it is the bad actors who are to blame, not the reputable operators. We continue to work closely with our "competitors" to ensure the integrity of online gaming, as a whole.

"The fact that this thread was moved to scam accusations[...]"

That should explains why it goes below my radar and only popped out with almost two full pages [and resolved].

I believe it's mod who move it from gambling section [I assume it's where it originated from] to this board because the content fits this board better.

As for OP not marking this as resolved, since this thread finally made itself announced into my awareness, I'll add this to my list and mark it as resolved. I hope that'll help ease your annoyance of OP's response and lack of follow-ups to the development of this case.

OP, please mark this as resolved and lock this thread. It'll be very much appreciated. And by marking this as resolved, it means editing the title and add a word "resolved" or its equivalence, not a small, easy-to-miss addition at the bottom of your opening post.

Good news! they sent me another kyc verification again, I did it and passed!  My withdrawal was paid to me within an hour!

Thankfully i saw this 1 hour before the verification link expire again.  I have no idea why Betcoin make it this difficult for people. Most sites dont have a deadline for how quick the kyc has to be done like this. at least not within 2-5 hours after a sent email that you as a customer may or may not see in time..  This together with the disabled account without any notice + that they make you unable to contact their live support makes me very concerned for how Betcoin treats its customers, and i think there is much that can be improved here to make this experience WAY less stressfull for us.

Anyways, I hope that Betcoin take my concerns as feedback and I will mark this site as one that can be trusted since I got paid out in the end, when i did the KYC it was very very smooth from there.

Thanks to everyone that commented and tried to help me resolve this!  Take care.

It's good that the casino problem has been resolved and the amount that you should have released has been released, because, in my mind, Betcoin has been in this field of the crypto space for a long time, and the reputation that it has established in this gambling industry is good.

And yes, they gave you a response to your problem, and their admin is active in their ann thread section, but if it's a casino that's new to this field, your problem probably won't be solved right away.

I am not justifying them but there could have been some misunderstanding, miscommunication or technical difficulties which led you to your issue with them. anyway, all in all at least everything went in your favor and got the issue resolved. perhaps you should also update the title of the thread as "resolved"

I talked to a mate of mine who experienced the same shit because he won as well. Im curuous if you or anyone here thinks its ok to just get your account disabled without telling you why when you have around 3.5k in that account? that is a lot of money to me and to many people, it freaked me out, because I know how sites have fucked me and other people before.  Also the  "here make your kyc within 180 minutes"  and if you dont, you have to contact us again and wait another 24 hours for a another mail. Is just awful, there is no need for it when 99% of other sites dont jerk you around like this, Anyways im happy i did get what was mine.
People are waiting months to get paid from other sites. Sportsbooks are now asking for source of funds and bank accounts. The KYC is becoming more prevalent and intrusive. Check scam accusations. One person has waited 9 months. There are a lot here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

I assume that you play at a lot of crypto books. Feel free to post positive or negative experiences as it will help all https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.4280
I have waited a similar time for Stake. there are way worse sportbooks indeed.

And even if they thought I was a scammer , why do they just close my account wihout saying anything and dont respond to me or let me in their support anymore? Is this how they treat people? this is so stressfull to go through when I know I have done NOTHING wrong.

That's frustrating when companies do that.  Maybe you made a withdrawal that seemed suspicious to them? Or it could be something else going on that we dont know about.  Either way, they should have told you why even if you didn't like the answer and  i'd try hitting them up every way you can - email, social media, or whatever contact info you can dig up on their site.  Just keep bugging them until someone tells you something.

No gambling site has a right to delete any customers account on the basis of a suspicion, there are a laid down procedures that are to be followed in ascertaining that, investigation must be made, maybe a KYC verification request could be issued to the customer to respond to, and assuming the account was suspected of breaching their operational policy then it could have been made known to the customer with evidence showing such. And not to without any statement just disable or deletes a customers account account at the point of withdrawal.

If this is a deliberate act by the company to deny the customer withdrawal of his money then there's no other channels Op would want to use to access them that they would respond to.

I mean we gamblers shouldn't be treated in this manner at all, we do lose so much money to the house and at the glimpse of a  bright luck that ushered us a win we're then denied of that money after losing so much previously. It's really frustrating to imagine. I implore that the appropriate body address this matter and see to common resolution.

Thanks to everyone that has commented on this page. There seems to be a lot of confusion here. I have nothing to hide like some people are suspicious of. I simply dont know whats relevant to provide here. Betcoin.ag Said I wrote them an email yesterday, that is correct. But my account have been disabled for more than that and no email or anything from Betcoin support. Just simply disabled my account and when I now try to contact support i literally cant get through to them on live chat, which is super stressfull when I am leaving my funds on their site. I choose Betcoin to play at only because of their trust rating on this site.
If anyone think I should provide "proof" of something, please let me know and i will post whatever you think is relevant here that I can access to. I would post all my betslips and all my transaction history on my account if i could, but i cant login, so i feel like im kind of screwed when it comes to "proving" anything.

What I will do is post the response I got.

(DELETED IMAGE)

And After I clicked this link when i saw this mail (5 hours after it got sent to me) this is what it says.

(DELETED IMAGE)

So.. I am working nights and was asleep during this time. Can i give feedback to Betcoin, that you can try and give your players notice before or rightly after disabling customers accounts when they try to withdraw? And can you please send me a kyc verification I can complete on my own time instead of forcing me to complete it within 3 hours when I might be asleep or simply at work and unable to check my mail all the time?
Now I appreciate that Betcoin have responded to me. But I have never experienced this before as someone who have been gambling for 10 years and tried countless of gambling sites.
What do you people think?

I appreciate Betcoin for getting back to me on this, but I am also not entirely happy with the process as this is making me very stressed. my account was disabled without telling me and I cant make the verification because I get an email at a random hour of the day saying I need to make a verification within 3 hours so now I replied to Betcoin and had to ask them to send it again, which might take another 24 hours and I might miss checking my mail in time.

( I also want people to understand that when you are a winning player and want to withdraw, most sites always make it harder for you to do so, this is not a new phenomenon. People here might have a good experience with certain sites playing casinos f.e where the casino knows they have a proven edge over time. But if someone is good at sports betting and are one of the 1% that make money long term, they dont want us on their platform, this is why you first get limited to bet smaller stakes and then when you try to withdraw you are very likely to experience stalling and additional KYC. This is why some of you might think that this is not normal procedure and therefore I am coming off as being suspicious to you, because your account wasnt disabled without notice but mine were. Just putting this out there for people. )

I will say this though, I will give credit to Betcoin and mark them as a trusted site to use if I am able to get my money out.  Its a very good sign that they have responded to me. I will keep you guys updated.
