Just betting on statistics depends on what statistics are you using about. Martingale does give you winnings as it doubles your base bet but that's it. So if things go bad and you start with 1$, it could take a bet of 512$ to give you the profit of 1$ lol. You are right that the winnings for every roll remains the same, but is it not also psychological?
