Basically it all boiled down to which would appreciate better: BK or BTC.
That's no different than any other ICO or altcoin. What is different though, is that BetKing has an actual working product already.
The buyback also prevents BKB to bubble up in price like most altcoins do. You can't pump something that has a fixed price somewhere else.

This is why BKB is really hard to get profit on it, there are people where they want to get profit through this, like buy loe and sell high, most altcoin will be always like that. I do not know why they want to have some fix price here? I know for long investment may be it is really good to have this fix price but this is altcoin what would you expect if there is no pump and dump?

I could be wrong on this, but basically the BKB tokens could suddenly look like a great investment
if the BTC price would drop sharply?
It's kind of a hedge against a price drop. I trust BKB more than I trust Tether.

Yeah, sell BTC to get a 7.04% growth on investment..
If I knew the casino was going to be operating in FIAT and not in crypto, I would have never invested.

If you invest in a cryptocurrency casino, the increase in value of those cryptocurrencies would increase your investment too.

Though, I guess, maybe it's not that bad?
I mean, the bankroll could double after a year and a half or so, and we could get our money back..

Let´s say BTC falls to 2k $ / BTC for some reason. Suddenly you would be glad that the exchange rate of your BKB
tokens is locked in at the exchange rate from the ICO. Therefore I wouldn´t rule out completely that the BKB tokens
might still prove to be a better investment than buying BTC directly.

I obviously agree that at the current BTC price the BKB tokens look like a bad investment even though
they returned 7 %.

Man.. investors got royally hosed with this ICO. Basically it all boiled down to which would appreciate better: BK or BTC.

The answer, IMO was pretty obvious right from the get go. IMHO, Dean should just buyback all the tokens, open up the site for classical invest/divest BR model, and collect 35% of the profit. All this ICO money raised and it ended up with some updated UI and some slots. Having investors in site was actually quite profitable as other investors gamble tended to gamble in the past. Remember Road2Wealth? With the investors gone, it's just a bunch of 2 bitcent gamblers left, leaving the site desolate.

People have sold on exchanges and during the buyback date. It seems, though, that a lot of investors (or at least the vocal ones on the channels) decided to keep their tokens.
Interesting. Which exchanges are tokens being traded on?
EtherDelta and HitBTC. Obviously at a lower price than the buyback because of the wait and 10% deposit value.

Thank you for the links Smiley

where do you see your referral stats?
AFAIK currently there's no page available but dean has stated that no one reached the minimum commission by the start of this month (0.01 BTC).
no stats or analytics are not really encouraging me to market betking...
It's on the list. For now I'm sure there are more pressing concerns.

Why wasn't my BKB deposit credited?

There were some problems with the BKB and ETH system, which should have been updated today. If there is still a problem, then you should contact dean about the deposit. After all, it'll still be a while until the next buyback date.

I got it, just some time after I made the post here.
At first I thought it's because of Crypto Kitties, but HitBTC showed it as confirmed, so the issue was here.

Just curious: Any investors who are actually happy with their decision to buy these bankroll tokens so far? I tried to sound the alarm bells over a year ago: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/betkingio-refusing-to-answer-key-questions-about-ico-owner-bans-me-instead-1703778

No.

Though I am disappointed that my BTC investment would have been better if it was kept in BTC, I knew the risks of exchanging it in for the token, which hasn't done that poorly. There's a 7.04% growth on the investment from the original token price.

Did anyone sell any? Is there a demand for them?

Anyone here won the jackpot yet? 50 BTC seems like quite  stretch and I am wondering if it legit or not. Not saying it isn't just would prefer tog et clarification from someone who has won it before.

AFAIK nobody has won 50BTC before.
