He will be having limited playing time once James get back, there are many £4.2m starter DEF out there to go for.
My plan long ago was to keep Gusto as third sub and wait for next James injury which we all know is not an "if" but "when" question.

Then Chelsea played like shit and I got pissed at having any of them, so I sold them all off on wildcard. Their best fixture run is coming to an end and I don't see myself wanting any Chelsea players anytime soon.

This will be though GW for me, only inspired captaincy can save me Smiley But then my team should be great in upcoming weeks unless international break causes another bout of injuries.

There is an international break after this game week, you don't know what players will get injured coming back from the break meanwhile Saka, Stones and Gusto are all going to be back from their respective injuries and suspension after the break, and as expected regular starters, the rallying towards them would likely be back.
I can agree for Saka and Stones, have my sight set on Stones actually when he gets back and if he gets back his DM role. But why would you include Gusto in there? Surely, James has that RB spot firmly in his pocket and he is back from injury as well. Granted he is very injury prone and I feel like we will have Gusto back sooner or later but not that soon.

James is already back and will serve his one-game suspension this weekend against Burnley, so he should be fully back after the international break, thus anyone who still owns Gusto should get him out before he dips again.

Stones is taking forever to return and I'm losing my side bet against Hhampuz.   Grin

Gusto price is the major reason why I feel he could be an important have, Gusto is still at 4.2m and for Reece James looking at the number of setbacks he's consistently had over time might make him not an aggressive attacking option for Poch for the time being imo.

It is really much more comfortable to create a squad without Haaland. For now my squad is like this. However I could change many things in my squad until tomorrow. It left me with impression of Hojlund's performance against Galatasaray can be effective in the league as well. Klopp's subbing off Darwin in the Europa League match to preserve him made me think that he would give him a chance in the starting eleven as well this week.

If this is your team and you are likely to still make drastic changes or player return into the team I hope you didn't save the new changes because the players you're trading out will be at lower prices and if you're getting any of them back you'll be paying the new price, meaning you could go even as far as 1m+ short from your initial budget in the process wild carding if you didn't make a final decision and keep reverting or bring a new player for another that you've had before.

I saw someone post his team on Twitter and says he never had Haaland in his team. Not having Haaland in his squad means he could afford more better players in other areas of the team but it's a risk I'm certainly not willing to take right now especially since injuries are all the rage now. And yes, Darwin is definitely getting on the starting line up because:

- Gakpo is injured.
- Jota is suspended.
- Klopp needs all hands on deck.

Btw, your team is pretty based. I likey.

Holding Sterling for another GW then Sterling to Palmer looks good if Poch keep him at the No.10 position behind the ST.

Yup, thinking about Palmer as well - but really dislike picking anybody from Chelsea. They will need to wake up at some point throughout the season though.

I really like Neto as a cheap pick, but don't know who to sacrifice from my strong midfield. Rashford is an easy choice obviously, but United really has a run of easy games coming.

Your Chelsea choice is it based on our current form or based on fan rivalry?  Grin

You should be concerned about your team since you have four depreciating assets, and if you do not manage your cash now, your team will struggle to get the right players. Remember that the richer your team is, the bigger your advantage.  Gusto, Estu, Saka, and Stones are all unavailable and decreasing in price. Only wildcard can now save your ass.

I think the damage is done already, even with wildcard he'd be buying into an expensive phase, the players he has have gone through their worse phase selling them now is pointless if he's going to be bringing them back into his fold soon. Potential Price Fall in the coming days! How many do you have ?
Mitoma, Saliba, Botman, Steele, Pickford, Forster, Wissa, Beyer
Baldock, Martinez and possibly Saka and Halaand

I sold Saka for him - I am not so confident in him at the moment as it seems he is made of glass.

Pervis Estupinian out and Matthew Cash in. now we hope that he (MC) can continue his strong performance
Matty Cash has been good, but Cash will have a tough time with Hwang Hee-chan who is in the form of his life. He has scored four goals for wolves this season and last week he also scored the winning goal against the reigning champions of the premier league, to stop their unbeaten run. Makes me have doubts for Cash this GW.

How long will Saka be out? I have him in my team but I see many people transferring him out.
Until Saka fully recovers, his performance will not be optimal. To fully recover, he needs to be rested for a couple of games in my opinion. If Gareth still picked him, the chances of him getting rest is still slim, meaning the time to fully recover will be longer.

At the moment they are Botman, Estupinan and Gakpo. It seems that all three will be back in action very quickly,
Estupinan is not returning soon, he will miss up to four weeks of action.

Crap. I'm tired of getting rid of injured players but their number is not decreasing. At the moment they are Botman, Estupinan and Gakpo. It seems that all three will be back in action very quickly, but when the bench contains literally one healthy player it is annoying.
I'm surprised that my team performs above average (apparently the rest suffer from injuries even more haha).

I am thinking between captain choices this week, Salah, Son and Haaland all in my team waiting who will get the honours. Really not sure who will it be in the end, leaning towards Salah at the moment.

This will be a bad week for me otherwise so need to get captain right. Half of the team injured or suspended but all will be back next GW, so just keeping my head down for one GW and hoping for the best.

Halaand is often bullied in crucial games, so Son captaincy vs Luton looks like a TC choice for me this weekend. I'm not sure about Salah right now.

I'm glad I got Etsu out before his price dropped and Pedro Porro in before his price raised.

But I wouldn't have captained Son even if I had him because he's a high risk like Watkins.

Taking risk is part of the game.

I do not trust Haaland vs Arsenal away, I don't have Son so I am going to gamble on at least 2 xGI from Salah this week.

What is the probability of Darwin's being in the starting eleven this week? Klopp subbed him off together with Salah in the 45th minute of the UEFA Europa League match like he wants him to be ready for the weekend.

Very likely. Gakpo got injured in Liverpool's last game and Jota has an active suspension due to the red card he got from Tottenham game as well. So that leaves Salah, Nunez and Luiz dias as the ones to lead the Liverpool attack when they come head to head against Brighton (A team Liverpool have had difficulty to win throughout last season).

Nunez and Salah are just starters imo, No Gakpo obviously means more playing time for Nunez and he has been good lately.

How long will Saka be out? I have him in my team but I see many people transferring him out - they would not do that if it was a minor injury.
Estupinan injured as well, looks like it will be a fun round for me. At least I think Stones might be back in contention.

Lurking around the top 10 without Haaland, I'm happy with my results so far though.

When I look at Manchester City's fixture the idea of creating a squad without Haaland doesn't look bad at all. However this is a very big risk. Because we are talking about a player who can score 4-5 goals in 45 minutes easily.

He was named to England's call-up list, meaning he is expected to miss this weekend's game and return after the international games. Before he returns, his price could fall again. Estu will be out for a lengthier period of time, therefore he is not worth keeping.

This weekend, I'll play another mind game with my captaincy option.
