This season for the first time the most transferred player hasn't disappointed managers. Trippier managed to collect 12 points this week as well. I'm happy for transferring him in the right time. Even though I'm lucky about the Trippier topic I'm not doing well at all as for the other topics. I'm quite regretful for not using my wildcard this week. This season the defensive players in my squad have made me quite disappointed. Stones' injury, Gabriel's being in the substitutes and now Pervis Estupiñán's - points. I should have been at least 30 more points higher.

So fucking dumb man, game was "updating" this morning so couldn't make changes, sigh.
You were late than. Deadline is always 90 minutes before first game, that way you don't have official line ups. Then when deadline passes game goes into update mode. I was on wildcard making changes until last minute today so it worked 100%.

Enormous haul for Watkins. I was thinking about second striker spot between Watkins, Alvarez and Darwin. I actually liked Alvarez least but stayed with him because I bought him at the beginning and have a lot of money invested in him. At least I did not go for Darwin.

Some of you were talking about minus points for Estupinan so here it is:
1 point for starting
-1 point for 3 goals conceded
-2 points for 2 goals
Total: -2 points

Anyway defenders and goal keepers loose a point for every two goals conceded so if he continued to play he would have got one more point for 60+ minutes and lost two more for goals and would have ended on -3. Not a big difference.

On the other hand, Watkins seems to have awoken the fire in his belly that made me get him at the beginning of the season. It’s just disappointing really that, this performance is coming after I had him sold off for Isak.

And what the hell am I doing with Marcus Rashford!

same in my squad, since I sold Watkins for Alvarez, he scored four goals and have assist in two matches, what a luck
and I kept Rashford on that occasion, although he was alternative to change, as for Watkins

some round expected more from Evertonians, but Beto isn't scoring soon, it seems, too bad I wan't sell him, hope this fate to change

It's a good thing that Estupinan was replaced at half-time Grin
How many negative points do you even get for conceding 6 goals?

Watkins with 3 goals and 2 assists, fantastic start for all of us that have him in our teams.
This is you just mocking me right now, lol…

It seems it’s going to be a bad week to lose points after all. After having a good week over the course of GW6. Undated of getting points from the two players I had from Brighton @Estupinan -2 @Mitoma +1, it came off with an overall -1. Taking from me what I’m even yet to add when they should have been adding.

And what the hell am I doing with Marcus Rashford! It’s becoming obvious that this guy is going to be a bad investment for this season on the FPL.
Are we seeing Raya to be doing just as well as Ramsdale and that could mean, not as a replacement but bring about less games as there would be more switches between the goalkeepers… Having Ramsdale could just be costly as it has been for me through some games now (0 points).

@Hhmapuz - Did you do it? I knew it! I was right to dumb Onana for Areola

Zouma is more of a better option than Romero imo. Westham will keep Sheffield blank this weekend.

The craziest things all the players that were considered a doubt for this game week so far have all played and some have made significant impact, Saka specifically, it's been 71 minutes played for him so far and Arteta is still not thinking of replacing him, despite a 3 goals advantage, then maybe the game vs Lens is where the rest will apparently come from ?

It's a cold day in the office for Erling Haaland so far, he's had just a shot all game till now, are there any player or persons from the pool with a different captaincy choice other than Haaland ?

Saka does not take days off when he is fit to play. We will be available for the CL game against Lens; Lens won their game yesterday and are performing well this season; if Arsenal does not come with full strength, they will lose.

I have no words for Halaand and Rashford - Both shit.

I knew Brighton were going to be in a lot of trouble today
Wish you gave us the warning signs as am in the negatives lol  Cry

They were bad against our shitty team in the league cup, and I knew they'd have little chance against Aston Villa this weekend with only a few days off. I replaced the only Brighton player in my lineup, and the same player scored an own goal.

Watkins with 3 goals and 2 assists, fantastic start for all of us that have him in our teams.
This is what happens whenever I let go of a player. A dream TC week for Watkin owners.

Douglas Luiz finally got a goal! 15 points in the bag from two Aston villa assets.

I put this week Pickford in the goal, b ecause they play against the mega weak Luton, and.... he allow two goals in one half.

Vindicated for clearing Brighton out of my squad (except Estupinan, swapped in for Marsch). After their last big loss I was sure they'd do it again and they've gone and just done that. Own goal, yellow cards, bad day to have BHA on your team!

Can't believe I shipped out Marsch for Estupinan (I thought he was doing well for me but he was not getting game time so I switched last GW). -2 is what I have, I think that's just fr the own goal though, I think conceding doesn't result in negative once you get 0, but am too uninspired to look it up.

20 points for Watkins, fab return (also he has been ok for price past couple GWs), so I feel I did ok with 18 points (thanks Estupinan).

right in the first game in the pl i put two players from brighton in my squad with Estupinan and Ferguson. hopefully they will bring me enough points Cool
Early Kickoff unacceptable!!!!

Atleast Ferguson won't be hit by the so many goals conceded, but for some of us having a Brighton defence for this gameweek we won't be so lucky...this 6-1 loss will leave a mark and didn't expect such a result regardless of it being an away game, f**k these guys!!!

I knew Brighton were going to be in a lot of trouble today and I'm delighted I was able to go with Cash ahead of Etsu on my team lineup. He already had an assist, but the clean sheet is gone, so I'll have to settle for 4 or 5 points now.

Douglas Luiz is shitting me out, 3 goals, zero contribution and 1 yellow card. Letting go of Watkins wasn't a good decision, he can't stop scoring ever since.

March starts for Brighton vs Villa, and that is easing situation with my roster

basically have two more not to start, so Saka and Botman can both miss, hopefully Beto will start for Everton and finally score, althouh seeing DCL form, that is questionable either
now just looking which player will hit injury next

Does anyone have status on the following players for this matchweek:

Isak
Saka
Maddison

Thank you.
Isak - Newcastle United face their most important match of the CL group against PSG next week, and Isak will likely lead the attack, thus he will likely play less or no minutes this weekend to cool off. Wilson will get things started.

Saka- He was sighted at the gym today; his injury does not appear to be serious, so he should get some playing time.

Maddison - He hasn't had a scan on his knee yet, and he'll most likely receive one tomorrow or next, but his injury situation is unclear for the time being, and I don't expect him to be pushed back into the lineup. To be safe, I'd do Maddison to Son.
Hhampuz, you just came up with my injury situation in exact and did what I wouldn’t have (Ask) but then, it was a much needed info and gladly, Igebotz did just by clearing them all.

Had some running on the Team News but, these managers didn’t emphatically cleared anything although, that of Maddison I seemed reassured of but, Son seems to have a situation of his own as well. The rest players was left hanging in the likes of Isak but, on the course of the reject runnings at Newcastle United and there PSG fixtures, it’s only reasonable to accept the likely scenario of Isak not having to future in today’s game and might just play less than 20minutes if at all.

Still, it was a very useful information for me to give my final verdict and the only risk I’ll be living on my team would be Saka.

This match doesn't look like a game week to target the double fixture aggressively the better team being Burnley are also facing Newcastle  in of those games making it rather not so worthy chase defenders from the fixture, and if you consider Luton being the worst team the league too. It's rather better to chase Midfielders/Forwards that have chances of playing in both fixture, Morris has been a pick for me, but I'm not heavily investing on this game, their are other players with a single match that seem like more viable options compared to players from either of both teams.
The current injury stats on my team made it an easy ignore for them teams @Luton Town @Burnley. Don’t see anything be lost not taking advantage of the DGW with these teams.

Sent out Martinez for Sergio Reguilón, he is one of Manchester United's best defenders right now to me.

Bad luck?

Now he (Reguilon) is injured until the end of the next international break.
I could not believe my ears and eyes to have heard and read this after just bringing him into my team with one of my free transfer options, and thinking that I have a great team for this GW. Reguilon just like Timber looked very promising.

Even Saliba may not get full time, he is not fully fit.

Zouma is more of a better option than Romero imo. West ham will keep Sheffield blank this weekend.
I used up 4pts to bring Zouma in, and take back out Regulion. I believe that whatever points I used up, I will be able to regain it back this week. If West ham put in their best, Sheffield will not be able to score.

What Maddison injury? He just had a knock and he is already back in normal training as per last reports I have seen. Fully expect both him and Son to start, both were slight doubts. Same goes for Newcastle players, all should be fine except Barnes who is out for long time.

Saka is tougher one and I think he will miss this GW.

I learned about his scan yesterday, and if his manager claims he's trained and ready to play tomorrow, I'll take a chance and put him back in the lineup. Saka travelled with the squad, but I'm not concerned because I no longer have him.

Playing Saka is not worth the risk, and I'm very sure Arteta would be very aware of that, Arsenal have a tough trip in the UCL on Tuesday away to Lens, after which they will host Man City next weekend, If there is any fixture that Arteta should get Saka a bit of rest to not aggravate his injury, I think we'll agree that's against Bournemouth, he might travel with squad, but he might not get more than some minutes imo, except of cause he's very fit, however, fit or not, Saka would still need a some rest, so maybe he could be on for just a 45 minutes at the max.

Not recommended but if you have one on your bench, you must use him. They play better football than Burnley, and I believe they will keep a clean sheet in either of those games.

From 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 after Maddison's injury.
Would it not be better to go for a forward or a midfielder in this case If you have a bench player to spare? I mean except for a case of injury there are players in the midfield or forward that would like play both 90 minutes. That's a minimum of 4 points, without other things like clean sheet (for midfield) and assist considered.

The only ST option I had on my bench was Westham second choice scrap.
