my biggest regret was captaining Kane and ignoring Salah, well both players are just inconsistent, they are not captain material at this point.
Kane is the most consistent player this whole season. Writing from top of my head so maybe not 100% accurate but very close for sure - GW 14 now and he got a return in 12 game weeks and blanked in just 2. Problem is he never got more then one return. So he is very consistent but not very explosive. Cancelo just the opposite he mostly gets 1 and 2 pointers and then he hauls 15+.
If I recall correctly, I had him for three GW, I got him earlier and he was worth it, but since I sold him and got Halaand, I have never regretted my decision, Kane is no longer just that guy, the team is no longer built around him because his future is uncertain. Cancelo was hitting 15+ before I got him, now nothing, and Jesus has been the shittest guy on my team since I got him. I'm simply unlucky.
Sorry bro but, I might have to agree with Trofo on this one. Kane remains one of the most consistent striker in the EPL this season and have always made a goal out of every 2 games he plays if not everyone. Of course he didn't manage it to score yesterday against Bournemouth but he damned tried. Although, I still don't favour him when it comes to captaining my team, he might get a goal but not so a hat trick or comes by many assists. He remains impressive still except for yesterday.

Eeling Haaland did hit most of us hard this time. Not like we forgot but most had hopes he would feature in the game despite his chance ratings on FPL but, Pep decided and we had his spot counting in the zeros. Tram Jimmy & the rascals seems to have been the one that made a good call and it paid off.

I so damn tried to get Almiron and Trossard on my team but, it was offsetting a lot and so I let loose. So much impact from the. For a GW that is almost sour.

Choosing VDJ over Trippier continues to hurt my ass.
VVD has been a disaster all season, people fell for two fluke league wins (9-0 vs the cherries and 1-0 vs Man City) and thought he was back to being world-class when in reality he hasn't done anything to justify having him on the squad at this stage of the season. Liverpool defenders are pricey but also crap, just poor value imo
I'm getting him off with -4

Wilson is the top transfer right now... I guess Toney owners found their replacement for the next GW.

Heh, Toney doing his non-believers (like me) a solid by forcing his owners to spend a FT  Cool
If only Jesus had the same decency to pick up that 5th yellow as well Smiley

I am thinking Nelson will replace Wilson on top after his heroics today, there are always those that look only at points and his price + haul today look mighty fine. There are some tweets out there and it seems 2 managers had Nelson as captain this week. I guess with large enough player base and maybe multiple accounts we get all kinds of strange stats.

I knew there was going to be an increase in Wilson value, so even before Newcastle match ended, I brought him in already after seeing Toney had picked up another yellow card, I was already looking to bring him in ahead the just concluded game week, but I wasn't willing to captain him, If Haaland had been fit, I definitely would have to bring in another forward in for Aubameyang, so he would have been my first choice.

EDIT: Salah just scored  Angry and it's still a very long way to go!
Now watch him go blank for the next 2 or 3 games. Same old, same old

My biggest regret is bringing Foden in GW13. He was top of my wish list and got just 1 pointers from that moment onward. Don't know what happened there, he started first 11 game weeks and played great. Then gets benched in all games after resting in GW12 anyway. Really don't see how he isn't starting the games anymore.

Funny how you guys underrated my information before the deadline. I sold Halaand because I was too confident in my choice. The wisest move I ever made was to go get Kane. There is no need to risk him against a team that should easily win without him given that his condition makes it likely that he won't be available for the next game either. The World Cup will soon arrive, man!
How do you feel now about that wisest move? Have to make fun of you now while my team still looks good. Have a feeling I will be down after Liverpool match as well.

Have Salah as captain and if he delivers, this could be very good for my rank after Wilson monster haul. But I already know I am set up for disappointment.

lol I deserve this banter after what appeared to be a perfect week for me turned out to be one of the worst decisions I've ever made, but it could have been a lot worse if I had left Halaand on my team, my biggest regret was captaining Kane and ignoring Salah, well both players are just inconsistent, they are not captain material at this point. Choosing VDJ over Trippier continues to hurt my ass. Now I need Jesus, Martinelli, and Martinez to score at least 20 points tomorrow or I'm ruined.

If Almiron hadn't delivered for me, I'd very livid right now because, I just sold Pascal Gross and Rodrigo today, and took a 4 point hit, It's already paid off with Almiron making up for the 4 point deficit, because I was going to be rid of Aubameyang regardless and couldn't have brought in a midfielder for him, but that still didn't feel justified that It was Kane I opted for tbh, Kane and he wasn't involved in any but still picked up a booking.

Rodrigo have also gotten a perfect gift from Liverpool's defense, I definitely would have left him If I felt he'd be fit enough, but still no regret than the -4 points, I just should have settle for Almiron and Rashford and held onto to Aubameyang, since he ended with as many points as Kane in the end.

I really just need a blank from Salah too... Wink

What a gameweek. I've got 50 points so far! Almiron, KDB, Trippier, Trossard, returns everywhere (and I almost dropped trossard before the Man City game lol) If it wasn't for Shitty Lloris this woulda been a perfect saturday, ffs he's useless!

Have Salah as captain and if he delivers
big IF. Man, we've talked about Salah plenty of times here, you know what's gonna happen tomorrow  Lips sealed

The wisest move I ever made was to go get Kane.
How do you feel now about that wisest move?

What isn't expected is Foden on the bench. I mean he is their top player and this is second game in the row he isn't starting, that one will hurt my ranking probably.
Well that's some good news for people who didn't have Foden  Grin

the bad news (at least for me) is that Ward, my bench GK, is having yet another a monster peformance. I might actually start Ward in the next GW and bench Hugo Lloris :/

The wisest move I ever made was to go get Kane.
Kane will start today for sure. But Tottenham have a crucial game next week in the Champions League, so I wouldn't be surprised if Conte decides to sub him off early (regardless of the result), and not just Kane but a few other key players as well
First half ended without goals so now the perfect thing and hopefully logical for Pep would be to bring Foden on. Than Foden scores a couple goals and everything is all right in my FPL world  Grin

Kane will play for sure but he has a though fixture and Spurs aren't exactly flying lately. I am happier with my Salah choice for now. Probably will not be after the games finish.

I wouldn't be surprised if he brings in Foden and Mahrez. J. Grellish is such a waste, and the game needs Mahrez to free up KDB in the midfield. That's the only way they'll get anything out of this game, but I doubt Foden will score.

I have Ward on my bench as well, but I don't regret starting Pickford. Conte takes game after game, and there's no way he'll take Kane off unless he scores a brace in the first half.

Edit: KDB scores!!

Well, i'm keeping Haaland on the team even though i'm sure he'll get benched today. Man City ml odds went from 1.36 to 1.42 since my last post, i can hardly draw conclusions from this about Haaland, could just be regular movement in the bookies during matchday.

hoping for De Bruyne (C) haul today
Line ups are official and there isn't Haaland in first 11,  sort of expected. What isn't expected is Foden on the bench. I mean he is their top player and this is second game in the row he isn't starting, that one will hurt my ranking probably.

Bench to the rescue in this GW seems like a play, hopefully my guys are up to the task and Salah finally delivers.

I note that you chose one of the worst starting lineups with Foden and Halaand. I'm hoping today's bench does you a tremendous favor. True believers  Grin

Yeah i was gonna go with G.Jesus but he's been dogshit recently so I'd rather go with KDB  (inb4 jesus hat trick)

haha, it could end up with Jesus scoring several today, since I also let him go week ago
Haaland is still in, not sure will he play or not, but 2 transfers is simply too much at the moment, since he is questionable

not much time till line-ups, and after that we will know more about that, but somehow I do not think he will start, maybe getting in later if things are not going in right direction

Just wondering this, when is the last minute that we are allowed to change our draft for the week? is it until the first match of the week start?

Man City vs Leicester is an early kickoff, 12:30 pm, so the transfer deadline is set at 11am, that's exactly an hour, thirty before City's so there's no way you can get the official lineup in time to influence your decision.

Is still all a probability for me, so I'm not fully sure yet, but Haaland is likely staying put.
I'm gonna keep an eye on the bookmakers. Surely some uk whales will have some info about Haaland prior to the game and the starting XI so they'll throw some money in some markets (total goals or ML) and we'll know whether he plays from the start or not
