Pep is acting strange this season, both Haaland and Cancelo were sick and had temperature before last game and they both played so i don't know what to think anymore.

not selling as well, and he is captain, it is important to pick good vice-captain at this point
if he is out for few weeks, than I would consider having him out, or this same situation, but City on 5+ points advantage to others, but now, Arsenal is on top, playing home, and Pep will try hard to win against Leicester, maybe Haaland will enter in second half, if things are not going well
I would advise you against giving him the handband; having a 75% fit player on your team is already a risk; making him captain is an additional risk for a guy who may only play 30 minutes or none at all.

I understand the risk, but I would rather lose a few pounds than lose a point in my current position. I already have Oleksandr Zinchenko on the bench who is injured; I may have to risk -4 next GW to replace him.
I can bring in Kane or Salah without needing to sell Kane, I'll probably just have Andreas as my first sub, he's got a decent fixture vs Everton, and Kane is got Liverpool next week, while a fit Haaland would come in handy, so why have one when you can have them both ?

Is still all a probability for me, so I'm not fully sure yet, but Haaland is likely staying put.
I currently have Salah and Kane on my team, and I was thinking of selling Jesus and VDJ to bring in Halaand. I want to go back to a front of Kane and Halaand, and having Jesus and VDJ makes me sick.

Gentlemen and ladies Halaand has been sold until the next GW. I got Kane to play against Bournemouth.
I am not selling Haalnd for sure, too much money tied in him to make that switch and even if it weren't that means at least 2 free transfers which is usually not good unless your team is in perfect shape and you have no need for transfers elsewhere.

Pep is acting strange this season, both Haaland and Cancelo were sick and had temperature before last game and they both played so i don't know what to think anymore.

Why would Pep take risk on Halaand against Leicester City? They'll be in the same position whether they win or lose. I didn't see Halaand's picture at the training ground today; it's an early kickoff, so he could come on in the second half if things aren't going well, but I don't see him starting; it's a 50-50 bet right now. I'm trusting Kane to score a brace tomorrow.

The problem is when sell a player to bring in him in next week, you'd lose some transfer budget, and I've also got Rodrigo on some knock.

Only way I'd sell Haaland is if I'm gonna go without him for the remaining two weeks after tomorrow, I really haven't made my mind up yet as to how to go about it, but I'll come up with something

uh oh, vice captains could play a big role in the next GW:

"Erling Haaland had fever and picked up knock against Salzburg"

guess we'll have to keep an eye on Man City news until matchday. I seriously doubt Pep would risk the star of the team against Leicester City next saturday, but you never know...

Pep stated that he has a sprained ankle and that he may or may not be able to play. Lol I don't have time for mind games, I'm sure Halaand will be out this weekend, there's no reason to risk him getting another knock when you have another match-fit striker (Alverez) in the team. Leicester City are not in great form right .

and what the hell was he doing in Salzburg? playing for Chelsea on a loan? unbelievable on this level, they probably bought him few drinks, and he played for them, because they needed a win - and now knocked out from competition in his own team

joking a side, but BBC done a really shitty job to messing Salzburg and Dortmund
expected to see that headline changed when visited a link, but it is still Salzburg, great coverage by BBC
Good catch, I did not even notice it when reading the post first time around. Had a nice laugh about it now.

Liverpool in CL again with good performance. Salah with a goal and assist and there is still some time left. They will start playing in PL as well, it is just a matter of time. Spurs loosing and looking quite toothless, would get rid of all Spurs assets if I had any  Grin

Pep is really suprising us. Why did he risk Haaland and Cancelo yesterday then? Both had fever and were far from their best and both started in a game which meant almost nothing to City.

Vice is on Salah against Leeds for me, no need to think about that. Good thing is also that City is first game in GW so there is chance for last minute tinkering. Line ups can be found sometimes even an hour and a half before match which gives us almost half an hour window to order our squads.

Solanke is also flagged, so it will be interesting for some managerse to navigate this GW. And of course, still a lot of PL teams to play in Europe so there could be more surprises.

No need to check 5 weeks ahead at this moment. We have only 3 game weeks before World cup and free transfers so those 3 GWs are all that we need to plan for. I know my team will get a big overhaul during World Cup.
-snip

Oh wait, World Cup yeah I kinda forgot about this. I cant actually believe that we are almost at the end of 2022, it feels like I was still in March or something around that lol. So its about time for us to put that free hit chip in a good use after the World Cup ended. If Im not limited to only 1 free transfer for the week, I guess I could be building the optimal team for the last 3 weeks.

Almiron is the Top Transfer in this GW

Come on, lads, hop on the bandwagon 'Almiron',, been here since gw8 and it's been super fun Grin

I would jump in the wagon as well if I havent had 3 Newcastle's players, might need to drop one but Im not too sure about this as I've had already decent midfielders. I've also checked the Newcastle's fixture for the next 5 weeks ahead, they really have easy fixtures aside from the 3rd one against Chelsea but Chelsea is not really in top form either so there is a good chance that Newcastle might win against Chelsea as well I guess

I know my team will get a big overhaul during World Cup. Now it is just damage limitation and trying to stay in striking distance to top positions in my mini leagues but that isn't going according to the plan Smiley My master transfers of Salah and Foden failed quite miserably.

Great to see one put him on his team. Almiron its a top player, i remember him when he plays here in Lanus in the Argentina first division, and man, he was and is fast and talented as fuck. He doesnt have a lot of media coverage because he lost a few years in the MLS making money, and because he is Paraguayn and his national team its not in his best shape in this time, also when he comes to Newcastle he find a very bad team. Now they are improving and he its showing more and more.

Well, The Foxes will face Man City on saturday so at least Ward's superb run will come to an end... right??
At the rate this season is progressing and considering he will again be on my bench, I am quite sure he will get 5 save points and two penalties saved if City proves to be good enough to breach iron clad Leicester defense.

I mean WTF, they were worst defense in the league and then they have 4 clean sheets in a row Huh Who can predict stuff like that.

Man! I really don't know anymore at this rate, I've already opted to be more consistent with 3 at the back, but I really felt an well rested Emerson Royal would be rather sensible after picking completing his suspension, but then he was just back to where he left of.

I'm working a on fine forward line and I'll settle for the same 3 backline all season long until the premium defenders are back to their senses.

Trossard is inexpensive and effective; I'll look at Brighton's next three games before making a decision on him tomorrow.
I was gonna drop trossard last week because Brighton's fixture didn't look too promising, but all it took was one goal from him for me to change my mind and keep him for another GW. Next weekend is Chelsea, and after that they'll face Wolves and Villa... Yeah i think he'll stay in my team for a long time

Andreas with 10 points, Ward with 8 points
It really hurts to see Ward on my bench with 23 points in the last 3 gw while Hugo Lloris, my main GK, only got 11 points. FFS!

Damn! That sure must have hurt, I couldn't be more glad of not giving up point just to get Salah in and captained him

Yeah its pretty sucks but oh well its my bad after all

And more so, Nick Pope facing Tottenham being your captain, quite unlucky.

If you think you had a bad week, I suggest you take a look at my team and bench players. With my bench players, I could have had 24 more points, If had been able to make certain decisions from players sitting on the bench to my squad, Andreas with 10 points, Ward with 8 points and Neco Williams that played against Liverpool had more points (6) than all of my 4 starting defenders plus goalkeeper combined.  Embarrassed

Super yikes on this one, Pope ended up giving me only 2 points so thats 4 points with the captain band. So I got 40 points this week in total and average is 48 points so its pretty close. I thought I would be getting like half from the average points although I could got way higher than the average if only I didnt forget to change my draft for the week
