Haaland scoring, and had him as captain was most of my points today, 8 from 11
Mitrovic was out, Foden will be out from my team obviously, not sure what his situation is, but most of the team is playing tomorrow, trio from Liverpool, hopefully they will show some strength finally against Tottenham

a lot of goals today indeed, expected Wolves to win over Brighton, and my Everton to win (but, payback instead, Leicester gave us relegation avoidance points last year, thought that there is no 3/3 play in EPL, but not sure), shitty round

There are only a couple of positives for me this game week, the first would be bringing in Ward for Jose Sa, that'd be the first I'm getting more point for choosing either of the goalkeepers.

Just like I said 15-20 minutes is enough for Haaland to wreck havoc, it would have been two goals if the first one had stood. He even had more points that Kane whom I had last week and played for 90 minutes.

I am very sympathetic to your plight, I am also in Cancelo captain boat. Still can't believe he got red carded and penalty whistled for bumping a player with his shoulder? Did not see the situation that well since I was out and just watched on mobile.

Other than that, at least i got my transfers in proper with Solanke and Trossard.

Haaland is back. Everyone on FPL:

Still, though, bunch of goals everywhere but I only got 17 pts, ffs!

Haaland and Foden in first 11.
Another gameweek, another Foden on the bench lol How long until people start dropping Foden? I could see him in the starting XI against Chelsea in the EFL cup, and then he'll probably get benched against Brentford in the league
I really don't know what Pep is doing with Foden, gets on my nerves big time. Will need to think about it proper during Wold Cup break.

I don't really see the need to rest Haaland, he isn't on the world cup and he will get plenty of rest. If he isn't ready I am expecting Pep to not risk him in last 20 minutes since City should dispatch Fulham quite easy.

My first sub on the bench is Zaha and I have no problem letting him cover in case Haaland/Foden/Wilson don't start. I am more concerned with Foden since I sort of expect Pep to give him just 15 minutes at the end. Even if all three don't play I also have Dunk and Andersen on bench to cover for them. They could all do well with a bit of luck but I am really hoping for City to start with both Haaland and Foden in first 11.

I think this will pan out as I expected it to with Haaland, I think Guardiola is going to give a couple of minutes, he was only listed on the bench simply because he's fit enough to play, and that'd mess up those that kept the faith of having as their captain, if doesn't get more just the point for being subbed in, but 15-20 minutes is literally more than enough for Haaland to get a decent return.

But Haaland only getting subbed-in point surely can't be any worse than those who tossed it towards Joao Cancelo.

Have a feeling we will need to have strong benches this week.
The bench has been the weakest part of my team. I'd have to make a few changes in my starting lineup in order to have a somewhat acceptable bench. But I'm too lazy to do that lol

Anyway, Fantasy indicating that Haaland has 75% chance of playing. Im actually tempted to put him on the squad considering that Norway is not on world cup so there is no reason to really keep Haaland until he is 100% fit because he wont be playing in WC either way
On the other hand, there's no reason to rush him against a winnable side like Fulham.

I'm keeping Haaland in my starting XI, but if I had a good forward on my bench like Solanke, Mitro or Adams, I would totally rest haaland

I would say it is moderately important, but price rises are even more important than price falls. It is always nice to get early on player and acquire him while he is cheap. That raises your overall team value and leaves you with more choices in the future. For instance my current team value is 103.8M which is much nicer than starting 100M.

That being said you don't need to pay particular attention to it, just having good performers will do it for you automatically. Only time when I look for it is when making the transfers, for instance I made my transfers yesterday before Trossard went up in price to save myself 0.1M.

Gotcha, well in my case I have £98.4m squad value and £3.5m In the bank which is decent I supposed because everyone start at exactly £100m. I think this gets tricky once the total money that you have dropped below £100m and if it stays higher than £100m then it should be fine.

Oh no, Haaland's price is falling https://twitter.com/FPLStatus/status/1587618251495948288

Current price £12.1M, that's a -0.1 since last week. Well, lads, it's time to sell him... lol 😂

I think I missed this topic but whats with the price point reduction though? Im assuming that it has to do with total value of our entire team + remaining money left unused ? However most of the time that the price decreased by 0.1-0.3 so it shouldnt be affecting me in a bigger scope if I dont really pay attention to this isnt it? I havent been paying any attention at all to this lol

I wonder if he'll play on the weekend. I didn't do too bad in the last GW with haaland on my starting XI getting 0 points, but having a blank two weeks in a row feels bad, ngl

Selling him now would be a terrible idea, because even if he doesn't play this week there is quite a huge possibility of him being fit for next gameweek or let say you sell him and he's brought on for a couple of minutes, there will be a massive buy for the next game week, meaning you'll have to buy him for more value.

I've not made any decision about my team for the game week yet, but Haaland stays, I might not captain him, I might settle for more risky captaincy choice, but that's to be decided later at night.

Anyhow, anyone here part of the 930k managers who transferred in Callum Wilson for the next GW? You're not gonna like this: "The Newcastle star is feeling “a little run-down” ahead the Southampton game.”
I have Wilson but I did not transfer hin in this week, do I count? I got him as soon as he returned from injury since he is one of my favourite strikers, too bad he is so injury prone. But at least I got the haul last game and did not spent a transfer.

Have a feeling we will need to have strong benches this week.

In other good news, Saka played last 20 minutes yesterday so he is 100% fine.
Yep. I was saving a free transfer for him but he looked sharp yesterday.

But I'm still wondering if I should have 3 Arsenal players for the London Derby 🤔

We got a dose of hopium yesterday, Haaland recorded at training so I am thinking we have a lot to hope for. Would really mean much for my team if both Haaland and Foden start, one of the best fixtures in the season and this one could make or break our ranks.

If Haaland gets rested and Foden benched again I just know I can't possibly make up the points from De Bruyne.

In other good news, Saka played last 20 minutes yesterday so he is 100% fine.

How come you think Rashford scores quite often? Before his goal in last game he did not score or assisted in 8 consecutive United games spanning more than month and a half Smiley That being said he looked dangerous and those attacking returns were coming.

I like and chose to opt for Rashford basically because of the amount of playing time he gets, and I'm sure If Man Utd are getting good number of goals, he is very much likely to be involved in a number of them, I would have preffered stick to Rodrigo, but he's not fitting and had to limp off against Liverpool, after already being a doubt for the game, I wanted to revert to Martinelli, but Rashford fixture's looks much better, imo. But the midfielder I'm likely not to settle for before the break is Phil Foden, because you just really never know with Guardiola, I have no idea as why he's given Foden a less amount of playing time over the last few matches even tough he was perfectly fine, and there wasn't a tough fixture lurking around.

Haaland still with the 75% injury flag, same with Saka... Not good, not good at all. Maybe i'll get Foden or Rashford to replace Saka

75% huh, sounds like 100% at this point because Klopp probably wont play him unless he is totally fit. Im thinking of getting Rashford as well, dude has been starting regularly and scoring pretty often nowadays as he is put up front most of the times. Ten Hag seems to rely on him more than Ronaldo for sure and he is not expensive at all
There has been some encouraging news about Haaland and he is not limping anymore at least. Pep said that he will not play in CL since City already secured 1st spot. It sounded more like giving him a bit extra time then him not being able to play, but you never know. Good thing it is another early kick off so we can wait for news before pulling the trigger.

I actually like Rashford for last two games and I will get either him or Almiron for Pereira. Maybe I will even pull the trigger early to pick up the price rise. Especially if I opt for Almiron since he doesn't have a game in Europe so no risk of injury.

I'm getting him off with -4
inb4 goal and clean sheet 🤣 in all seriousness, it's about time you got rid of him

I so damn tried to get Almiron and Trossard on my team but, it was offsetting a lot and so I let loose. So much impact from the. For a GW that is almost sour.
They've been so good lately that I think they've joined the list of must-have midfielders (next two could be KDB and Maddison/Martinelli/Saka), at least in the last few GW.
