Betting on election is a good idea but its not for everyone, its limited to a particular area or a country. I don't think so there are any sites which are offering the betting on elections but there may some local bookies who are accepting the bets.

Umm.. It's possible to bet on elections e.g. "Great Britain, Next British Prime Minister" ; "Great Britain, Result of United Kingdom referendum on European Union Membership " ; "Europe, Greece to exit the Eurozone before 2015 December 31" and more like that through tonybet.com just it's not with BTC. And this website is not local or something Smiley

DirectBet offers politics betting and elections. Wow that was Easy!

I never had a experience of betting in elections but it will be quiet very difficult to guess who will win the elections.
Yes its very difficult to choose who will win because here in my country some region cheating the votes of every people or buying his or her votes.. so we dont know who will win..
Every election here in my country cheating votes never be gone...

If there is cheat, then it is difficult to predict who will win. But on the other hand, you may bet on the richer candidate to win.

That is the basic thing to do in a cheating country. Rich people always win because they can control everything.

How many people here want Trump to win?  I always find it so funny people get so upset about politics and they know they have the right answer.  How the heck do you know you have the right answer when you don't even have any idea who the person is you are voting for.

It will make little difference if Trump wins or not. The US national debt level will keep on rising, wealth will be distorted to rich people. If Trump supports bitcoin, then I want him to win.

Trump doesn't look to me like a guy who will support Bitcoin. IMO Hillary will support it not beacause shes so smart but because she has smart advisers around. We'll see though. But I think Hillary will win anyway.

Hillary won't even get the democratic ticket to run IMO... I have a strange feeling it's going to be between Trump and Sanders, which will be the BIGGEST division in the political spectrum for any Presidential election in US history.  Not to mention that we've never seen a true socialist running that has a lot of support from the younger voting group.

Some sites accepting other country...

I don't think anyone here would be the kind to support Donald Trump. He caters to the average American, the "John Q Public", if you will. Either way, he doesn't have enough influence to make it very far in primaries. Anyone who isn't voting for Trump right now will vote for him when their candidate drops out.

And in relation to Bitcoin, I would imagine a lot of people here support Rand Paul. As far as Bitcoin acceptance goes, he has been the most supportive of Bitcoin. He even accepts Bitcoin donations for his campaign.

I sort of do just because I am a bit dissatisfied with the establishment in the United States and think this type of shakeup has less impact than people think, a President needs the power of his party else he would be a near independent in practice and that type of conflict would be good for the government.

Resiliency in action it would be ambitious to say the least to have three powers in Congress, a Republican/Independent president a Republican Senate and Democratic House they may be able to make decisions because they know that it's already a mess and can blame trump lol.

Trump is a loser.Don't understand why people would even want him to win.He is straight racist and a rude man.I think he's a modern day hitler only if he had allowed to kill people.Guy will vanish mexicans/asians/ever immigrants .Its a good and a bad thing. It depends on everyone's perspective though.I feel Obama is sweet, funny and quick action taker.Atleast the guy blasted bin laden .

My point is, you have no idea who donald trump is, you have no idea who Obama is.  We all make such a huge deal out of this and we literally have no idea who they are.

yep, sounds easy but last Presidential elections the current Vice President is not the peoples choice and behind on surveys, but when election results we're out, he became the Vice President. This only shows surveys conducted before elections are not really reliable because probably they we're paid to condition the mind of people of who to vote. Anyway as the saying goes, it ain't over till the fat lady sings  Grin

Haha if you know who's gonna win where is the fun in there? and not all surveys are accurate, when a surveys says that Poe is the highest possible candidate to win, then just like you said, you will never know until it is over because the binay's are giving let's say under the table for anyone who's gonna vote him that is when the table turns right?

It is coming up on election time. That would get quite interesting, I'd join in on the fun Smiley

There are a lot of elections in the world
Limiting it to the US would be no fun some interesting elections such as Greek and Latin American elections, Japan has one upcoming last I recall and that will involve TPP deals.
Either way your right it would be fun to try a bunch of different ones.

try looking into the Presidential Elections in the Philippines where anyone can file a certificate of candidacy.
from 130 hopefuls, down to 5 candidates.

Sounds easy enough just pick someone with relations to the powers that be aka nepotism
Put the Aquinos and Marcos on the top of the list
Then filter through https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_political_families_in_the_Philippines
Bingo got 5 Cheesy
