Yeah, that's a possibility, but the needy won't refuse it. So if the church don't want it, it'll still have an use.

There are certain times churches doesn't question where did you get the money you donate to them, well donating is good and I think gamblers that donates to churches are modern robin hoods that getting money from the rich and gives to the poor.

There is the betting on Philippines president election. But if you would like to bet on something else I can add this betting to the site.

It's good to see a betting site with Phililippines Presidential election but the site's design doesn't look professional to me  Undecided Anyways I can't wait for May 2016 Grin and no need to say sorry cuz there's a sportsbetting site that already advertise their site on this thread Grin

Good luck to your project.

Betting on election is a good idea but its little difficult to predict the result. You should have adequate knowledge regarding the current situation and the inside politics and mindset of the people. Its little risky and there are chances to loose the money but I am not sure whether it will be popular or not.

in my country not only that they pay taxes, they also give a share of their profits to the church and some non government organization to help out the needy.

The giving to the church is interesting Smiley. From which country are you from ? A religious one I guess, but there is a lot of possibilities.

I hope the church will never know that it came from profits of gambling. If they notice this they wont take any money from that.

Every betting is illegal Grin. Gambling will never legal for most of the countries but people are still looking forward to gamble. So why not betting on elections? What is the different between others gambling games?

AFAIK gambling is only illegal if it doesnt pay taxes. well, there is casino and horse racing but thats legal right? thats how things works in our world tho we need to pay for our "sins" to be legal

Is it true that gambling need to pay taxes? I just know that and I though they just bribe some of the taxman to get out from the taxes. I dont know in other countries. What I do know is only is vegas or hongkong that their gambling is legal. Most of them are not illegal so pay taxes or not it will still illegal to government

yep a gambler can think of almost anything to place his bet for a chance to win, like "guess what will be the initial of the username of the next to post after this"  Grin

But going back on the betting on elections, one tool that can help who will win elections is by looking at the surveys conducted or commissioned by a non partisan group.

Yup! gambling and betting has many forms you can choose from, a persons mind has no limitations but other than that there are certain country or state that has illegal and legal gambling if gambling will benefits the government,

Regulations of gambling has many jurisdictions, local as well as national, either ban gambling or heavily control it by licensing. Such regulation generally leads to gambling tourism and illegal gambling in the areas where it is not allowed. The involvement of governments, through regulation and taxation, has led to a close connection between many governments and gaming organizations.

I've heard that betting on elections is illegal, much like betting on the new Pope.

Really. betting on election. There will be an election in my country, in Turkey. Is there any bet site give any odds about that? I just only curious.

You can check it for yourselves in directbet.eu. You can find multiple elections there, whether your election will be in that site or not

After you said that to me, I controlled this site. But I could not find Turkey.

https://directbet.eu/Events.cshtml?EventType=Politics

if its not currently available, i guess you can ask DB if they can add it or probably it will be available when the time for the election is near

After 10 days we will have an election. I guess bets are to risky for everything in Turkey, so bet sites do not risk any odds for our elections. Cheesy

Yes betting on elections would be more interesting but it would be more easy only with home country elections as we need to gather more knowledge on other country politics to make our predictions profitable. I'm very much new to election betting will search for better sites for making my political knowledge into profits.

I just hope there wont be a bad elections that would ruin the betting industry.  Grin

You know how politics do it for them to win. Even the single last drop of penny will be used to get that position.
