Betting on sports = gambling it's already considered as gambling we you bet your bitcoin and risk your money into nothing and you are thinking that your money will going to make it and double it by self there's no instant wealth are going into our life it's always came it from where we started into the top.
For me, Betting in sports is actually a gambling because there is a money involve and when you actually win the game then you will get profit from it right? and then if you lose from betting, you will actually lose money, so that is gambling. Smiley

Definitely Gambling, sports betting is the activity of predicting sports results and placing a wager on the outcome. The frequency of sports bet upon varies by culture. As long as it include money trying out your luck and having only some predictions as were doing in lottery in bingo or in poker that no mater how we put our best strategy it will still lead in our luck or whose the luckier.

You are right, that guys is too exaggerated when he do define gambling and he generalize all things because money involvement doesn't only focus on gambling but there are still some things like investments which you already mentioned. Why not it's not gambling even we can good profit with sports betting and it's less risky than dice, but in overall ratio it's very similar to gamble as like when we see over outcome, some matches looked very easy to predict but the result happening with unexpected way that is no doubt it's purely gambling.
Yes, the sports betting much better than Dice game. We can not predict the Dice game result like that in sports betting also same sometimes our guessing will not work. We will get unexpected results. Yes, my vote is positive because there is not even a minor difference between betting on sport and gambling. Sports betting is little more flexible way to gamble but it is gambling after all. Yes it is gambling when you bet on any sports game. There is no difference not even little between betting and gambling. Betting is given to sports events to distinguish them from casinos games. It is like using card in poker, rolling the dice or spinning the wheel in slots all are gambling. It is involvement of money which turns a simple thing into gambling which can be anything.
that's correct no difference at all we still talking about playing our fate into this game placing our money with the team that we are hoping to win its just like choosing which will happen when we place our bet with dice game we can't really say what will be the results because even best teams loses if we are unlucky with our bet.it is gambling only because it is unpredictable and that is the first rule of gambling. what you can do with gambling on sports is to guess the result and never be 100% sure. now if you have some experience with this type of gambling and if you read up on the history of the teams and players stage at that game then you can only make your guess stronger and that is why we call sports betting an skill based game!
