yes it is a gambling but with a good amount of chance to win/succeed because you can see how a team is progressing or going down because of some analyst point and visiting their website to see their statistics before betting.
I don't think Sports Betting has better chance of winning. E.G. Lakers deafeating the Warriors shows that even if you are said to be the super team in the nba you can still lose to a weaker team. If you only based it on stats and player strenght then you are doomed to be losing as there are other factors like is the game home or away, how many players won't be playing. Games are still unpredictable that is why I quit sports betting.

Sport bets are gambling, and i dont understand why people thing it isnt, arent you risking your money against a result? As i know gambling its a prediction result of something, soo sport bets does belong to those, the difference its the risk is lower then dices or slots machines.

Any form of Sports Betting is gambling. Even though you based on your bets too which side favors you to win, there is still a chance you will lose. For example even if you favored a team which has a "-#" on to it because it is strong, the weaker team might still surprise you with a win even without the odds on it. Just like in any gambling which you thought the odds are in your favor, there is still a chance of you still losing.
Odds means the probability of a team winning over the other team or player. While the odds are believed to favour the favourite obviously, but sometimes yes the underdog surprises too. I think the best form of gambling is sports betting because we don't have to verify rolls and all and do not have to depend on our luck.

Even sports betting is also form of gambling because there is risks to lose money there, but it is something better than normal luck based games where play against the house and we have very low chance there to beat the house but in sports betting we have choices to pick good option for betting.
I think yes it is still gambling although we can make prediction on sports gambling because win or lost, it depend on my lucky and accuracy of our prediction is just for 50:50 and on gambling i can not make cut lost.

The worse thing at some places is that they allow you to make live bets like : what will happen on the next stop, fault, goal, yellow card, this live options make the most loose money without feeling it.

i find sports gambling to be easier than casino gambling as you can use a bit of your sporting knowledge and you get to dictate your house edge
