The scammers in the crypto community will not cease to take cheap advantage of newbies using successfully conducted projects to scam them.
Whenever there is a new trending in the crypto world, scammers will always take the opportunity to scam these newbie and poor investors.

Don't fall for it. It's a scam.
To be honest, its easy to determine which giveaways are scam and which are not. This is just one of the common ways that scammers are using to scam people. What's worse is that even this way has been using for many times, there are still investors who are falling into this. For the investors, at least make some research and make a basis that will help you determine which projects/giveaways are scam or not.

It's awful that scammers are taking advantage of the uniswap airdrop to deceive people towards thinking that there's more freebies to be given by uniswap. No legit giveaway would ask for something in return. Its quite unfortunate that no matter how we talk about these things, people will still fall victims for this cheap scam.

I also think this way because cryoto scammers would likely have to do such things like this. As UNI got to fame, scammers would take this opprtunity to make such campaigns and airdrops that involves UNI to get people's attraction. I think we should really be carefull on what we are joining, if is is legit or scam, everyone could be a victim.

What else is new, they (scammers) have been into it since the market has gotten bigger. Not only do airdrops they usually do ICO with having almost the same name of certain successful project like uniswap (mooniswap) with almost the same features and concept in their platform.
Yes, everyone should watch out for the token name which is almost similar, because scammers have played this strategy for a long time when the ICO project experienced many scams in the past, so don't let us all get stuck on the old scammer strategy.

I already expected to have a scam related offers connecting to uniswap since investors profited on their recent giveaways.

Its not new to have such scam but some of us might bite the offer for the hope of getting a profit too.

So always verify if the giveaways are legit to not become a victim of scammers.

I am not surprised to see a fake giveaway because that is already happening for a long time, and a few years ago when ICO has exploded, many giveaways trying to attract people to join.
Usually, they give a big reward that does not make sense because they want to use people's curiosity to get the reward by doing an easy task.
Uniswap, as the new project already success attracts people to use their platforms, makes the scammers want to use the moment to benefit them.
The scammers will use their way to invite people to come to their project, and they will promise to give another big reward to people.
Just to remind you, if the reward is too big to be good, you should be careful, and you need to search for other news.

There are a lot of fake airdrops on Telegram that offer you DeFi tokens for simple actions, for example, fill out a Google Form with the Eth address and Telegram name, after filling out you are asked to send a little Eth to create a liquidity pool on DEX most often they do not have a token contract address. If you are asked to submit to Eth, they are scammers, do not believe them.

This is actually relevant and more often than not people might fall for scams like these. Following the recent give aways of uniswap people would think its not too far of if theyd give again. Just be careful of what youre clicking, if it asks you to send money first, obviously a scam.

It's not something new like this in crypto because things like this will continue to exist and it is the job of scammers, so don't trust anything on social media, follow official telegrams or legitimate social media from projects we follow, make sure the links we follow comes from the official website

Beware of anybody offering to give away anything, whether that be cryptocurrencies, information, or practically anything else for that matter.

Giveaways and get rich quick schemes are some of the most popular ways to scam and there are innumerous different variations of scams out there looking to separate crypto holders from their funds.

Don't trust. Verify.

The cryptocurrency industry is basically a gauntlet for the uninitiated, plenty of clever scammers out there lying in wait for the next idiot to come along.

The scammers in the crypto community will not cease to take cheap advantage of newbies using successfully conducted projects to scam them.
A team of scammers are at it again using the name of UNISWAP to conduct a fake giveaway to steal from the unsuspecting newbies. The giveaway is announced through a medium post claimed to be UNISWAP's with other scam team members commenting to give testimonies about what they've earned from the giveaway to attract people to be their victims. A check on Uniswap Twitter and telegram channel doesn't contain anything about the giveaway. Don't fall for it. It's a scam.

I have seen a lot of it on telegrams on social media they are even giving hundreds worth of UNISWAP, this is how scammers works they always look for the current hype because there are newbies who will take the bait because of FOMO but like the social media scams it's an obvious scam

Cryptocurrency addict | Invest at your own risk.
In a hype situation like this, of course there will be a lot of fraud that occurs, for giveaway fraud or whatever it should be easy to avoid because they will never ask for personal data such as private keys or ask people to send money first to get a prize

This method is often used by scammers to deceive cryptocurrency users, especially new investors. In addition, the project has recently grown rapidly and many active traders at Uniswap have received large prizes without spending money claiming UNI tokens. and this of course can be used as a means of fraud by irresponsible parties.

The more rumors and unnecessary fuss that arose in the wake of the hype from DeFi, the more all sorts of dark personalities appeared trying to cash in on gullible users. No wonder they say that it is easier to fish in troubled waters. You have to be extremely careful.

That's the importance of active community many people would be able to report or ask the team's official group about some kind scam but it's really inevitable to happen that's why it's important to educate newbies to avoid being targeted by scammers.

Uniswap is one in the year opportunity and now all sorts of scammers wants to mimic

I see many project now copying the name of uniswap so they can take advantage for uniswap supporters as if this will work like that . I see UNII name have given airdrop just to registered in the website they are hoping that it will became the same things as the real uniswap . But the truth is they are just using by developer to earn money from created tokens and give fake hope to any one that will receive that tokens.

That's right, sometimes even smart people can be fooled just because of their greedy "thing". Many people still lack self-control so they can't think clearly or just do their own research. Even though they do little research is more valuable than having to lose assets due to carelessness.
Losing assets due to carelessness is very ridiculous, especially if that person already has a lot of experience in crypto, it is really unfortunate that this can happen because some smart scammers are still able to fool.

Scammers are abusing hot topics. Everyone is reading about the success of UNISWAP and its upcoming airdrop, so who doesn´t want free money? People are greedy and they will not do research to find out if the airdrop is legit or not Wink.
That's right, sometimes even smart people can be fooled just because of their greedy "thing". Many people still lack self-control so they can't think clearly or just do their own research. Even though they do little research is more valuable than having to lose assets due to carelessness.
I believe that many cryptocurrency users are expecting an opportunity that will provide them with the same opportunity as in 2016 and 2017, thanks to which they can get very fast and large profits. It is this situation that scammers actively use, without even bothering themselves, copying the White Paper of others to the project in order to create their own fraudulent act that would attract investment funds. Therefore, you need to be at least a little careful so that scammers do not steal your funds.
