It's been a month but he is still not updating his concern or problems,we have no knowledge if Poloniex still doing this to other users,I know it's a case to case basis but as traders we have the right, why Poloniex has this kind of issue.

I use poloniex, and haven't had any problem withdrawing bitcoin. Sometimes I have a problem with depositing alts but it is usually resolved with 24 hours (the problem is caused by their wallets not being synced all the time).

I have used poloniex and never faced any problem with my withdrawal, recent btc withdrawal was last week without any problem.
sometime they ask questions if we just deposit and withdraw btc without any trading but normally nothing wrong with them.

Never keep all of your coins on an exchange anyway. I was smart enough to spread them out over 4 exchanges before the Bitfinex shit happened. To be honest, I never expected such a thing to happen again. I thought we had learned our lesson after Mt.Gox.. but yeah, I've removed a lot of my money from exchanges after that. I don't trade frequently anymore, long term or nothing. I want to be able to keep my money in my wallets, away from thieves.

I have never had a problem but it is good to have brought this to the communities attention.
You must update the post and tell us what has happened.

Nothing happened because it was FUD to begin with.

If a company want to get a proof of identity and address then it is not bad but locking someone bitcoins is not good. from a longer time some other payment processors also want the verification but they do not lock the money of their users but allow them to transact within the processor. they only restrict withdrawal to banks etc.

Does Poloniex allow people from all countries to trade on their site because coinbase has a limited number of countries that can trade on their site.

they do as far as I know. the only people with problems are those in American states with unfavourable regulation like new York and more recently new Hampshire.

Yup, Live free or die My ass! Lol

Why is it a problem to warn users about the reality that is going on ?

Its OK, but we all know in what world we live, do we not?

can we pretend to have exchanges that deal with $$ and banks and at the end they do not ask for our name and later force us to go over verification process

sure we can have some grey zone exchange which do not deal with $$ nor banks, but that exchange never can get bitcoin to mainstream nor provide bitcoin inflow of cash, which is needed for 98% of ppl

and then there is BTC-e i hope they manage to float as they have, but can anyone garantee it
