Yes we need to be ready for first chips orders. We are that confident that it will work we paid them out of our pocket...EDIT: It might be quiet on the surface but you probably figure out that there are a lot of thing happening all the time hire...

That is a really good question. I thought I will learn that. BTW we do have rev 1.2 ready just in case we made a heat dissipation error... I'm not saying we did it is just already made backup plan just in case. It might be that BFL didn't think ahead and ask them self "what if"... And I think that most of there problems are in over complicated board design and chip mounting... We will test that soon. We just need 16 chips. And then I can report that we did that in record 5 hours

Really? You think our first production board will fail? This is the only way I see this happen... I see hashing 10th latest.My prediction is for production board hashing with Batch 1 chips, then for delivery to group buy..........
Your current assembly board is using sample chips, I will be very happy if you prove me wrong............ And have a good hashing speed as well
All this has only taken 5-6 weeks since you went "Public". Why did BFL miss their estimates so badly?

Monarch is scheduled for mid december +12 months/-0
There will still be plenty of bitcoins to mine with these units for 9 months after delivery.
Who knows what else will be available by then?

I think that GB buyers will be proceed in EU... Need to figure this one out how can we make this at best cost and speed for you... For sure the board that will be hosted will be processed hire. Not 100% sure for the rest...

That is good news. How does that work for those that have chips in multiple chip batches that were planning on having you host the incomplete board while waiting on remaining chips? I don't expect you to have all the answers to everything yet I'm just bringing it up. I would have ordered 16 chips in one batch but I'll be honest I didn't expect you guys to get a 16 chip board going. I am happy to be wrong...
I'm in same spot. Order of 24 and another 8 when we went to 16/board.
