Hi Lucko
If your board and chips are available before the "BFL LS" arrives then it will be "no contest" on price.
The first to hash gets the most Bitcoins in the bank.

Hi Lucko

Please can you change my 8 chips @ 100%  to  16 @ 50%

You will need some btc for the extra credits Please PM with the wallet address and I will send some.

I need to keep an open mind as to upgrade for the LS or order another board from you.

If the BFL "little single" is going to be a messy upgrade maybe it should go onto Ebay.

I have been looking at some figures, (Yes its been a long time waiting for BFL and others)

"Asic erupters" now on sale in US / Canada    £93.71/Gh and 7.7watts/Gh (in batches of 100 chips)

"Asic Blades"    now on sale in US / Canada  £124.00/Gh and 8.3 watts/Gh (nice unit but the price.............to add a network board)

"BFL Little Single"    Pre paid                       £47.00/Gh and 3.5 watts/Gh

"Cointamination"  paid in stages(chips, board, assembly, delivery) expected price £16.50/Gh and 3.5 watts/Gh

Sorry for the prices in UK £ but they are easy enough to convert (and update if anyone can improve on my figures)

This includes UK import VAT @20%

For power and price its no contest, Especially if BFL/foundary can deliver the chips on time.

This has not quite fallen into place.
another day or two to investigate the little single upgrade and the batch 3 chip pool is closing, do I risk 8 more chips?................
I have one more SEPA on the way so I can do exception for you or you can change your 8 100% to 16 50% chip order... And power regulation will only be a problem if you would like to get out more then 60 GH I guess. It is the same board. And we would need to make you a heatsink... Not a big problem but you can't use standard so it will cost  a bit more... Add some additional components... You also need to clean the pads for ASIC... There is some work but it can be done...

I am now starting to look to when my "LITTLE SINGLE" finally arrives(september, october, november, 2013 or 2014)

What do you think the upgrade will require to transform it into "COINxxxx SUPER SINGLE"?

I can imagine the first move would be to sell the PSU on Ebay(or throw it in the bin)
Then immediately ship the main box to you, with some bitcoins, to complete the transformation.
Well we have a Little Single in hands... form got his shipped Smiley So we will see. I would guess you will need some BTC but not much but more importantly 8 chips. I guess you will get form 64 to 70GH out... But you need to know that this might not work so good because form reported that power regulation doesn't work that good...

We are probably 1 to 2 days off to have a final board ready... But there was a small change of plan... One board that can be 4, 8, 12, or 16 chip board depending on components on it...

If anyone is planing of buying chips I'm just closing the batch... So hurry...

And just for a taste... New logo...

16 chip board bios?
Yes!!! Well close enough... 16 chip "board" with 16 chip bios...
...

What exactly do you mean with 16 chip bios? Do mean you are working with all 16 engines on a BFL ASIC chip?

ENGINE_ZERO is always disabled by default in BFL's Firmware. I couldn't read anywhere facts about why this has been done, or what's the problem with ENGINE_ZERO. Do you know more?

This is a quote from an email I had with Jonathon Griffin at BFL.
"The engine 0 is currently deactivated on our chips. If it's enabled, the behavior of the chip will be indeterminable."
Well you got the response. I didn't... When I ask anything technical I don't get anything back... But it would be still nice to figure out how to use it... But I can't figure is this firmware or hardware(I think it is) problem... Did you?

I think Lucko is trying to say a board for 16 chips with a bios that can handle 16 chips... The original designed board is for 8 chips...
Can't believe they have an engine that its behaviour can't be determined when it's enabled... It's like having a door way light that will trip your house's power when you turned it on....

There are a few utube clips showing teardown of these units.
The little single appears to be on the same board as the single but only 1/2 populated.

The day for us to confirm our board orders must be getting close!
Yes that is right... Just need new BOM so we are sure we get price right... We could start with one really hi to be sure but I told you it will be close to cost for my GB buyers and sample chips donors who helped with this boards...

Nice, so we are truly looking at 1 board there. I like the power supply jumper. (That’s an attempt at humor not criticism)
