This may have been covered here and I may have missed it, but I am now using the 64-bit 1.5.0.7 of BiblePay Core.

My Evolution wallet had more coins in it, I am assuming we no longer use BiblePay Evolution and those coins are because I may have forked off?

Either way, I am still successfully receiving smart contract rewards from the World Community Grid by running my Core wallet 24/7 along with BOINC. My team Biblepay user name is satoshi0x. I have been participating non-stop since early February.

** TESTNET IS NOW OPEN and we are looking for HELP to help test our JUNE 2020 Mandatory Release **

Help!

https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=531.new#new

We will need at least 6 sanctuaries running in testnet in order to test this new decentralized sanctuary spork voting outcome feature.

Optimally, we will finish testing within 30 days and have a June 15th release.

*** FIRST MONTH OF BBP + XMR ORPHAN-CHARITY  LIQUIDATION REPORT ***

We had a great starting month - For April 2020 we raised:
Miningpool.fun - .132 XMR
Foundation.biblepay.org - 1.95 XMR (this includes the funds raised from rx.biblepay.org while it existed)
=================================
TOTAL RAISED:  2.082 or $135.65

EXPENSE:  Cameroon-One will receive 2.082 XMR today.

Cameroon-One is now accepting XMR.  Their charity address is: 86dLi8C8iQT8EvLw3nLM5N9snaKVmBrdvccmgW7KYchXC7oz5cGoV7iQ6kGR6f8N3DbMs49xyxf718N tCnEnWecjKgWLBrx

We will be transferring this today to cameroon-one (when it matures).

Congratulations to everyone who helped orphan-charity!

NOTE:  Accountability.biblepay.org is being updated now with these two entries - and going forward, we will have a revenue entry each month for each pool, and an expense entry for each charity expense.

** XMR+BBP parternship appears to be a success **

I'm very pleased to announce a small update regarding our RandomX initiative.

First, tallying our April revenue from RandomX (sourced from foundation.biblepay.org and miningpool.fun), we have raised  1.13 XMR between April 1st and April 21st.  Even more exciting, with the higher recent trend (collecting the full 10% tithe over the last two days), it is projected at our current mining level (of 2.0 MH/S in the foundation pool), that we would actually be raising 3.0 XMR by the end of April!  This means that with our very tiny initial launch, we are already on track for raising about $180 in orphan charity in one single month!  Although this is relatively meager, it's a pretty big dent in our current orphan sponsorship level (75 orphans at $2,645.00 per month paid via POOM).  Or another way to look at it, we are on track to raising 6.8% of our child sponsorship expenses in our very first month of operation.

The other equally important facet of this initiative is we have successfully found a way to eliminate 100% of the drawdown on the BBP currency ticker (remember, in the past, with our huge orphan charity expenses, each time we liquidated for compassion, we sent our price spiraling down by 70% as we raised money for orphan charity); those days appear to be over!  If we move entirely to the new model (XMR charity liquidations) there will be no drawdown on the BBP price!  (Except for the effect of normal mining liquidations).  But even that aspect has a very positive change.  With our XMR-BBP partnership, it can be viewed that the lions share of the miner's electricity bills are already paid (via the personal mining XMR reimbursement).  Meaning that this ecosystem allows us an unlimited growth potential without drawing down our price for mining rewards.

SAI.ngo news:  I received a message from Stephan at SAI.  We have been working on a deal to sponsor 30 more Venezuelan orphans for $20 per month.  The deal has been delayed for two reasons:  they are operating in emergency mode due to coronavirus.  Secondly they are having some type of governmental issue at the branch.  Steven will follow up with me within 30 days, once he confirms that the local branch is creating the bios.  In the mean time, we can mine against our extra cameroon-one children.  (I am setting up 10 outside of poom for this purpose, but keeping the bios and accounts active).

Future:

I believe we need to scale up what is successful, and what works for us.  We have quite a bit of room with POOM to improve our RandomX ecosystem.  Note that I am not the type of person that wishes to start a relationship and break it, so I feel we must do this slowly (over the next 8 months).  The idea is to slowly phase out POOM and phase more RandomX rewards in.  We can do this without hurting our relationship with Cameroon-One, by keeping the children sponsored but paid for with RX.  I'm monitoring GlobalGiving for matching opportunities.  If we can find a match, I will jump in and create a BiblePay match account, move the child from Poom to GG, and then we can allocate XMR revenue towards those children, etc.

What this means from a mining perspective is we can raise the heat mined reward as we scale back POOM rewards.  For example, if we lower the POOM reward 20% in our June release, we can raise our heat mined reward the effective amount up.  It might rise from 2482 per block to 3482 per block, for example.

Exciting times!

** New RandomX Mining Calculator Ready for Testing **

https://foundation.biblepay.org/MiningCalculator

I believe all we need to do is make two of the values update dynamically in the future.

Please test the math, seasoned miners.

At this point in the game, BBP pays twice as much as XMR to mine.

I'm testing setting up a NOMP pool, but can't find the biblepay.json coin config in the repo. Can somebody help out?

Its under pool_configs: https://github.com/biblepay/node-open-mining-portal/tree/master/pool_configs

I heard the lead dev may be working on pool software that scales better with the influx of XMR miners.

The wcg suddenly does not work today. Everything works fine before. I just double checked I am in the Biblepay team and 'Display my Data' is checked.

I tried to reassociate cpid
exec associate :
Sorry, we found you as a researcher in WCG, but we were unable to locate you on the team.  You may still participate but the daily escrow requirements are higher for non Bible Pay researchers. NOTE:  Your RAC must be > 256 if you are not on team bible pay.  Please navigate to web.biblepay.org, click PODC research, and type in your CPID in the search box.  If your rac < 256 please build up your RAC first, then re-associate.

exec rac:
"Command": "rac",
  "cpid": "-----------",
  "temporary_cpid": "--------",
  "Error": "Your CPID is linked to your CPK, but we are unable to find your research records in WCG; most likely because you are not in team Bible Pay yet.",
  "Step 1": "Log into your WCG account at 'worldcommunitygrid.org' with your WCG E-mail address and WCG password.",
  "Step 2": "Click Settings | My Profile.  Record your 'Username' and 'Verification Code' and your 'CPID' (Cross-Project-ID).",
  "Step 3": "Click Settings | Data Sharing.  Ensure the 'Display my Data' radio button is selected.  Click Save. ",
  "Step 4": "Click My Contribution | My Team.  If you are not part of Team 'BIBLE PAY' click Join Team | Search | Bible Pay | Select Bible Pay | Click Join Team | Save.",
  "Step 5": "NOTE: After choosing your team, and starting your research, please give WCG 24 hours for the CPID to propagate into BBP.  In the mean time you can start Boinc research - and ensure the computer is performing WCG tasks. ",
  "Step 6": "From our RPC console, type, exec associate your_username your_verification_code",
  "Step 7": "Wait for 5 blocks to pass.  Then type 'exec rac' again, and see if you are linked!  ",
  "Step 8": "Once you are linked you will receive daily rewards.  Please read about our minimum stake requirements per RAC here: wiki.biblepay.org/PODC"

What should I do to fix the problem?

If you're still having issues (it might take a 1-2 days to re-associate although you don't usually need to do this), DM me and we'll set up a video chat.

Your config file allocates 2 threads to RandomX mining; was that intentional? Considering in-wallet mining is not efficient for RandomX, I would not allocate any threads to heat mining at all (i.e., use that power towards PODC instead)

In any case, you do not have to run multiple copies of the wallet for PODC mining - it actually complicates the matters. You do not even have to keep a single wallet open 7/24 - all you need is a stake-confirming transmission made once a day. You can do that by firing up the wallet, letting it sync, then manually perform "sendgscc wcg" in the console, and shut down the wallet.

You need to make sure your stake (collateral) matching or exceeding the required coin-age for your RAC is present in your CPK address.

Could you please check:

1. Stake requirement met in the CPK address
2. GSC transmissions made from your wallet in the last 8 days

I didn't realize in-wallet mining was changed by the upgrade. I will remove the first 3 lines of the config file and close the 2nd wallet.

GSC transmissions are being made every day. And staking appears to be okay. Thanks.

Two more questions Smiley I am running 2 Win10 machines without GPU's. Each machine has installed the BBP wallet and the BOINC client. I am receiving regular PODC rewards but several days ago both wallets stopped mining (0% CPU activity and no rewards in 8 days). Here is the config file for the 1st machine:

addnode=explorer.biblepay.org

genproclimit=2

gen=1

externalpurse=BQ5epKDHsp9AWjVgRYd9ZysQa7g75ve539

externalprivkeyBQ5epKDH=[my_private_key]

externalpubkeyBQ5epKDH=BQ5epKDHsp9AWjVgRYd9ZysQa7g75ve539

1. Is the config file okay?

2. Should the config file for the wallet on the 2nd machine be identical (for PODC purposes) or reflect the CPK of that wallet?

Thanks!
