When I designed the pool, I made it so that it is easier to use - and that feature is important that the graph totals up properly. If we didnt have it, we would be overbudget every single month except last Christmas when we first started this.

We always had a budget problem! Since month #2! You have to realize the pool has to fit the proposals within the grand total on the graph!

Interesting, how does this affect sanctuaries and the superblock generation?

Do they as a matter of course ignore the oldest/older proposal?

I have no problem with someone owning a bulk of the masternodes.

My only concern was if someone is putting a proposal out there to get public opinion, and ends up overriding the public opinion... This is dishonest, and is a risk for any masternode coin I suppose. (for clarity, Rob has said he didn't do this, but I wouldn't want anyone else to either)
At this point, Rob and I are talking and seem to be getting along in private discussions.

I am hoping to help move the community forward, but we're not there yet apparently, I cannot control anyone but myself but I do want to see things cool off...

Anyone up for the "Community manager" position? We need someone that can keep a level head regardless of what is being thrown at them..

Were Dash adopters arguiing about this on their early days? Would this discussion not exist if we had 4000 MN?

It is not that a possible control might be in few hands, something that probably happens in all cryptos (Bitcoin included), but that those with majority have the right incentives to "behave" and favour the coin's stakeholders interests instead following some harmful agenda.

That is up to you, but week 3 has already begun, so no point now. If we make it to Week 4 (and I think we have very good chance to be top 3), that is when you can try. You need to queue up work before week 4 starts. We take 1 week break after this week and then week 4 starts. So, during the break, you can download many tasks, suspend network activity (e.g. make upload limit for 30 days 0.1MB), and then queue up all your finished work and release them on Monday of Week 4, Nov 5.

If you stake BBP to vote (not sure how it'd work with MN holdings if at all) for a proposal, you lose the BBP if the community decides to vote no against the proposal (e.g. fraud). If your staked vote is approved, you might get a small percentage for participating (e.g. 1%)? As your staked vote participation increases, perhaps you have a capped trust multiplier (e.g. up to 3x)? You're welcome. I didn't know about cc_config.xml and being able to change ncpus from -1 to 48. I don't have powerful computers, but I like the short Fight AIDS@Home. I put 48 ncpus and got a lot of FAH tasks. I usually only get like 4 at a time... so I can get my badge upgraded on that task.
