Really nice day for BBP. Huge dump, c-cex almost closed, broken wallet and southxchange bbp wallet offline. What is coming next for BBP?  Shocked

I would expect all the exchanges to have issues before this is fixed.

Does anyone know how to trade on QIEX? I see a sort of sliding bar but I can't fix a limit price other than clicking on the existing ones in the order book.

Any help or reference to a guide? Thanks

I've sent BBP there but haven't tried trading yet. But I'm also curious Smiley

It seems like we have several forks going on right now. For example look at the purepool statistics, it says "current height" 49404 (probably the correct one) and "last blocks found" 49456. My miners on the main pool currently show "blocks" 49468...

Let's all just wait until 49405 on the main chain has passed.

My wallets just crashed (large debug.log).
Deleted that file, restarted, and now on block 49475 :s

I think I'll go to sleep and worry about this tomorrow once Rob has had a look.

As for my sanctuary, it has not yet crashed, but I did check and I am using 23 of the 25Gb on the VPS.
What files are safe to delete on my vps hosted sanctuary?

Thanks Smiley

Your biggest file will probably be ~/.biblepaycore/debug.log - you can delete that.

You may also want to check /var/log to see if your btmp and btmp.1 files are huge. Just echo a "" into them rather than deleting them.

That might free up 16 or 17 G right there.

Please excuse my ignorance.

How do I

"echo a "" into them"

?

Thanks

echo "" > /var/log/btmp.1

I just tried reindexing, but it's useless. Apparently the majority of the hosts is on the wrong (forked) chain. Moreover, the PODC payout seems to have landed on the wrong chain too, so everything is fubar!^^

Rob to the rescue! Grin

Edit: Does anyone know of a host that is on the correct chain? Maybe we could then reindex with this one as an "exclusive node"?

Small info: With the current problems, I stopped the payouts of purepool. I don't like the current instability, might create more problems.
There will also be no new shares for a block per user shown in the user statistics. BUT nothing is lost, the block shares for the users will be calculated later, when it all is stable again Smiley

Gent,
whatzapp today I have only 0.48 BBP in my wallet

really don't understand

Check your PODC payments - I have one orphaned that means that about 90,000 BBP has 'disappeared' from my wallet.  I'm waiting until we hear from Rob and the network is stabilised (and I can check my balance on a working Block Explorer) before trying to repair/zap and rebuild the wallet (If you decide to do this MAKE A WALLET BACKUP FIRST!).

Where I can check PODC paymemts ?

BTW I delete the debug.log it's about 27GB

thanks

Edit: Well, seems like it's not that easy. I just received the PODC payout for today, but right now this is the only balance my wallet shows. I'll try reindexing, because somehow also the freshly started wallet landed on 49475 instead of 49405... :/

If you check the pool, you can see Rob sold BBP 7,268,932 today to pay Compassion.

but wallet on ccex is down... so if it stays offline then all bbp stays there for 3 months...

I would call it that the c-cex owners have cashed out their profits in BBP fees and run away to Bahamas with the BTC in the bag. And the buyers seem to be trapped.
Nah, that 10M dump was Rob himself, who cashed out his BBP and now went on a 3 month vacation with Yuri.  Grin Grin

Just kidding of course, I thought we could use a little humor in here after all the troubles^^. On a serious note: orphaned PODC updates indeed sound scary. In that case it would be best to leave all controller wallets offline or restart them with utxooverride=-1. I personally left mine off the whole night, wouldn't want to see all my BBP (temporarily) gone. We are now 15 blocks away from the next superblock (which obviously will pay the PODC rewards according to the Mag from 2 days ago). Let's see how everything sorts out after that.
