I solved my crash problem by copying my existing blocks, chainstate and .dat files from Windows to Linux and just starting it without reindexing. For some reason it would not start on a clean slate, without those files. I think most of the times it would get stuck on "Loading wallet (100.10%)..." (last message in debug.log).

By the way, something probably not important, but I noticed a new warning in debug.log at the beginning of each start:

I don't know if it will really be deprecated in our setup, but I tried to remove RPC credentials from biblepay.conf anyway, just to see what will happen, and then the warning disappeared (and it was replaced with something like "authenticating with a cookie"), but then after loading the wallet, there would be this message in debug.log every minute, and syncing will not proceed:

Your welcome to talk to any of them and get a price and an approval. You cant raise money for an exchange that isnt listing us.

Regarding stopping expenses, I would never allow tithing and budgets to be stopped.

You can put your personal money in the fund however.

Just a heads up, we are very close to our monthly superblock for the budget system,
which means a lot of coins may be sold later this week on the exchanges
(over 15 million BBP coins being paid out this month!)

"getgovernanceinfo" command, shows superblock is at block #43050
and with "getinfo" command we are currently on block #42371

So 679 blocks to go, at 7 minute block time = about 3 days and 7 hours

I may be wrong, but perhaps this isn't the fault of those two exchanges, because maybe it's too much of a coincidence to happen at the same time, so it could be that their wallets crashed, because we've seen a couple of recent reports of crashes.

I am currently also experiencing constant crashes on Linux, with a totally clean slate, shortly after starting the daemon, with no apparent errors in debug.log. No problems on Windows though.

However, I agree we need better / more popular exchanges. Jaap is holding the new exchange fund and it has been increasing during the last few months.
