hm.... after update to 1084 our miners no see on pool

Unfortunately I have to second that; did the update on 2 machines (Ubuntu; "classic" update via git pull origin master, not via repository) but these machines don't show up on the pool anymore...

getinfo says "1.0.8.4" and getmininginfo looks perfectly normal (poolmining true, submitting solutions etc.) but somehow the pool doesn't seem to recognize it. Sad

@Rastislav posted the same issue in Slack, then "stopped the jobs and restarted, now it seems to be working fine."

Tried that multiple times, no luck unfortunately. I'll just leave it be for the night; let's see how it will work tomorrow....

Others posting in Slack ... still having a problem with missing miners, but not showing in "My Missing Miners".

April contacted me today asking if our last budget was successful and if we were caught up with payments to Compassion. I said yes and yes.

I still warned that we currently dont have a working exchange up yet, so still nowhere to sell BBP.

I just opened an account at YoBit.net exchange to look around, the platform looks good enough. Apparently funding an account is a simple matter of sending coins to the corresponding wallet (BTC, DASH, etc) in your account. I also checked for reviews, which are mixed.

Joelles, have you used YoBit? If yes, has your experience been good?

Also anyone else with YoBit.net experience please comment.

For Cat trading bot they removed api for lack of support.
But that is for developers
Honestly I'll be happy if we can get the coin listed on exchange
These daily fluctuations on 1k average traded a day makes me nervous
Yobit is quite big exchange so it could be milestone

I updated one of my system 30 minutes ago and I still see it in the pool and it generates shares. Looks good here (used my ubuntu packages, but that shouldn't make a difference)

That's strange. I upgraded directly from 1081, maybe there's the problem. Could you be so kind and again describe how to use your packages (which repository, package name etc.)? Thanks a bunch!

1.0.8.4-Leisure for Prod
Mandatory for TestNet
Mandatory for Pool Miners to upgrade before block 27500

Production:
- Enhanced pool protocol required for submitting pool solutions (goes live on block 27500)

Test:
- Money Supply estimate fixed to include sanctuaries
- POL StakeMiner verbose errors
- More granular POL weight
- 16 minute late block threshhold (for future 7 min blocks in prod)
- Fix for superblock budget amount to be based on 1.5 Diff

Rob, thank you, this will update for crashing miners also?

best regards

PS THOMAS, yes we need to get listed for YOBIT, we have funds from BUDGET for that. ONLY 0.1BTC yobit is BIG exchange
Yobit are really bad.  Probably better to have no exchanges than a few really bad ones.  I'd rather do direct swaps than trust them with my coins again.

My friend, we need exchanges, quickly..
Coinsmarkets bailed with our coins
C-CEX took ours hostage.

atleast YOBIT is somewhat reliable and will put the price of BBP back where it has to be.
And for miners with expenses monthly to cover the costs.

@sharpshot
Echo that. I'm trying to sell some old coins (yac) but they aren't providing new addresses for it. But someone is buying up all the coins still being mined. Ticket got nowhere. The last btc i had went down with cryptsy. Any thoughts on the new style decentralised platforms, they may be more responsive?

A new charity has reached out to us a few weeks ago. The organisation is called CameroonOne, and they have a legitimate problem that they want to solve: a lot of orphanages in Cameroon don't have enough capacity and/or are corrupt. The prime objective of CameroonOne is to get orphans out of the orphanages and place them with surviving family members. There they can get the best opportunities to get good education and healthcare under guidance of CameroonOne.

You can read more about the charity and provide feedback on the biblepay forum:
http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=86.0

You can find their projects and general information here:
https://www.cameroonone.org/projects

Could people please voice their opinion about this charity, so we can make a nice proposal in due time?

I see that you rebuilded 1.0.8.4 and published 1.0.8.4a. When I install on Ubuntu server 16.04 it still shows 1.0.8.4-xenial1. Is this OK?

The building of the packages is not finished, at the moment launchpad compiles the amd64 + i386 packages:

Can't take much longer Smiley

Alright, the new core wallet is almost ready, but don't feel overly rushed as this version requires a mandatory upgrade for pool miners only before block 27500.  If you have a lot of pool miners to upgrade you can start pulling down the linux version (1084) now, but I will announce the release soon (when windows is ready).

Oh, you reused the version number 1.0.8.4, there is already now a Ubuntu package named 1.0.8.4 from the commit before Smiley
I will build the new one as 1.0.8.4a for Ubuntu, can the next number be 1.0.8.5 to prevent problems? That would be great.
I wasn't aware that the commit c35086028c8a2994ade90f5ff32fc8a0842c50bf wasn't a official release, as it had a version number, too.

Thanks
