Also, what will the total supply be in the end?

http://wiki.biblepay.org/Emission_Schedule

Approximately 5 Billion Coins in about 40 years.

As far as Masternodes (Sanctuaries) go, it's still up in the air, but the number talked about recently was 1.1 Million.  There is also discussion of a concept of a Super-Masternode (Cathedral) which I'm trying to write a short white-paper on.

why are there so many coins vs like bitcoin?

Not sure why, my theory is it's a lot more satisfying to have a batch of 50,000 coins versus 500 or the like.  Or there would be nearly 1 BBP for every person on earth at completion.  But I've never heard the actual rationale why.   In the end, coin supply is dictated by the coin developer and there is not real "correct" number of coins.  But a larger supply can lead to great usage or it can slow it.

I am willing to give up all of my coins if someone comes with an idea which will help the coin (should be around 30k).

My Address is below. I am already doing work to help biblepay BBP,

https://biblepay.wordpress.com is an example of some of my work.

I would prefer to discuss this in private messages,

Send me a private message.

Thank you Smiley

I don't mean to sound rude, but if that website took you more than 5 minutes I would be surprised.  If that is an example of your work then there is no way this community should back you.

Is there a requirement on how much BBP you need to run a sanctuary, like dash has?

Rob, I seem to be having this issue too. Not sure if it was something that changed or something wrong on my end.
Can't seem to get it back up though.

I didnt know the pool was down.  Maybe its the cloudflare change.  Checking now...

Yeah, it was cloudflares SSL.  I disabled SSL and the pool came back.  We will buy a normal SSL cert next.
Remember, pool2.biblepay.org was actually up during the outage so that is another backup option.

about getting bbp added for trading on one or more exchanges. Smiley

Dear Sato_shi_ate,

Sorry to do this, but I cannot take another "spam" post from you.

Please do us all a favor, and if you are going to post again, clean it up, think about it, make it original, make it succinct, make it something that adds value to this thread.
Dont make it long, quoted and full of trash.

If you do not adhere to the guidelines we will completely ban you from the whole forum.

I think I could find at least one decent crypto coin exchange who would add bbp for trading on their exchange,
but honestly, I do not have enough coins, so I am not motivated to do that unless I have more coins,
which won't happen any time soon, not according to earning 100+ bbp per day mining.

I really think you ought to consider paying me to do leg-work to find an exchange to add bbp for trading.
I am holding back, because I am not being paid, and I have been there, done that with coins in the past,
and not going there again.

There is no money/BBP to pay anyone until after the sanctuaries are live.
Have you written to any orphans?
By cpu mining biblepay bbp, and by doing some other things for bbp,
I am supportive of others in the bbp community who are helping orphans.

I wonder why you say there is no money, when I remember a post not long ago discussing
spending $15,200.00 to get bbp trading on one exchange.
Certainly if ya can spend that much to get on one exchange,
ya can pay me some bbp to get ya on one or more exchanges. Smiley

since no one is doing the work, I will go and do the work, and I am confident I will succeed,
I do not see any reason to delay when I see much opportunity out there.  Smiley

I ask about the orphans because you keep asking for free coins. If you write a nice letter to an orphan, when it gets 7 upvotes you will get free BBP.

Have you considered that there may be people trying to get BBP listed on other exchanges already?

.
.

I will use my experience to get bbp added for trading on at least one exchange.

I want to be paid for doing the work to do that.

I think some people need to change their tactics,
and not try to make me out to be some kind of scumbag
by changing the topic to orphans.  Stop doing that, it makes bbp look bad.

Not long ago, there was a post talking about spending $15,200.00 to get biblepay bbp
added for trading at one exchange. Think.

Well from your posts it sounds like you are only interested in getting BBP, not helping anyone. Earlier you said

"I think I could find at least one decent crypto coin exchange who would add bbp for trading on their exchange,
but honestly, I do not have enough coins, so I am not motivated to do that unless I have more coins,"

which comes across as very self-interested.

But OK, I'll bite, what exchanges can you get BBP listed on?

Would it be worth trying to get listed on the Kucoin exchange?  They're relatively new but seem to be growing fast and might not have such big fees.  https://www.kucoin.com

How much bbp are you getting from mining sharpshot?
I can get about 300 a day, if I use more than one computer.  I only leave a low end PC on overnight, so I could get more. Writing a letter to an orphan is the best way to get coins.

For pool.biblepay.org:
Yes I agree on SSL.  We already have cloudflare SSL, but something is not enabled.  Ill check into it.

For new user registration:
The verification is for forum.biblepay.org.  That site has SSL.   That site needs two questions because its been an extreme hacker target.  With one question, someone wrote a script to create unlimited new users per second.  With two questions, they gave up.

https://pool.biblepay.org is Up.

Hi, does this mean we have to change our config file? Specifically this line

pool=http://pool.biblepay.org

to

pool=https://pool.biblepay.org/

??

Thanks

This HTTPS certificate is primarily for the web browser to access https:// without the "unsecure" content warning.

Only mining problems and solutions are sent over the http channel, so I dont personally recommend changing the miner config file to HTTPS as it might slow down the throughput (it takes  processor to encrypt/decrypt HTTPS).  Not sure what a man-in-the-middle would want with a mining packet.  But if you want to test it let us know if it works.

Never had a problem with my website until I tried to put ssl on it, and the ssl then prevented me from accessing my site, telling me my site was not secure.

when I type in getmininginfo into the bbp debug window, it tells me
"poolinfo3": "POOL DOWN-REVERTING TO SOLO MINING; ",

and   "poolmining": false

tried surfing to pool.biblepay.org but the pool website seems to be down
