@CryptoHunter - Yes onward and forward.
I just think the market is still soooo small and because BAY is what Crypto is supposed to ultimately be, that "they" just had to try and "pull it"... out of everyone's conscience by killing it on the exchanges.
@ParsiCoin - You have a very nice looking exchange - congratulations!
You are very young, with very little traffic - for now. Best wishes for success.
Thank you for your interest in BAY.
WORLD NOTICE:
BitBay.market IS FUNCTIONING AND HAS THE BEGINNINGS OF A WORLDWIDE MARKETPLACE.
I do private trading/sales on there now.
BAY is like Amazon, Ebay and Alibaba; however, in a TRULY DEcentralized block chain - for the world to use, FREE.
I think this coin would be perfect for those that cannot access traditional banking and eCommerce systems.
Your enthusiasm for bitbay is what we need more of. It is a shame so many of the members of this community remain silent just waiting for others to build their future for them.
David has provided a fantastic base here and has done his best to push it out there for adoption.
We need now to really bring together on this thread all the enthusiasts and supporters and work together to find a way to push this forward. Surely we will not come this far just to let it all collapse into the abyss of forgotten and abandoned projects.
There may be some huge whales out there with 100's of millions of bay, we need to realize just hoarding and not allowing others to get some small stake by other means that just purchasing will not work. We need to bring incentives to get people using the market place. The web market place ideally should be synced with the p2p market place fully and completely and polished up a little bit. Then we should run a rewards competition for using and completing (perhaps selling) items on there. It should ideally offer all of the features of the p2p market place as much as possible.
We could also start reaching out to other forums to bring in testers and future stake holders.
The roadmaps were going very well when last we were active. I hope we have not lost momentum due to the set backs and unfortunate actions of centralized exchanges.
Let's start building momentum again.
If we have even 50 members like doc bitbay would be unstoppable right now. Where are the real enthusiasts for this project. I feel the lack of support can only be due to the lack of understanding as to what this project actually offers.
We certainly need to build a minimum level of demand where the peg can be introduced successfully.
We need to build a team of people here that will work and contribute for bitbay not for btc. If you are a real enthusiast for bitbay you will work to build value from this project.
ROI projects that reward ONLY those or primarily those that are willing to invest are essential really going forward.
Just a couple of international bitbay reshippers could totally change the look of the bitbay web market place.
It really needs to work like this of course it would take a little bit to get it going due to the total death and destruction of the volume here in our market places.
We have a plugin or feature that your ebay reshippers (international if possible since the huge fees that are auto slapped on by ebay leave a ton of room for profit.
So you click the ebay items you are offering to resell, the plugin grabs the buy it now price and converts it auto and updates it in real time or near real time to perhaps 120% of bitbays market price and grabs the pics etc and lists it on your account for sale. It also scans that item to see if it becomes unavailable or whatever then auto removes it. The advantage at first will need to be on the sellers side to make the process worth while. This can be reduced as bitbay volume and price is more stable and has more liquidity. As a seller you could later kick back a sensible amount to your buyers for extra great ratings and get more sales so long as you make a sensible profit per item.
So as a seller as soon as you see the sale generated you instantly check the ebay item is available dump the same amount of bay to fiat, and get the item ordered from ebay.
This kind of plugin could likey be done pretty quickly. There are some points of risk for the seller these will be mitigated somewhat as volume picks up and liquidity increases. The profit margins are there though to afford the seller great profits without really pushing up the price hugely if at all to the seller. Eventually when all worked through efficiently there is plenty of room for a lot of profit and savings for both sides.
Need to get the volume and demand there first, even better if the peg can be flipped on.
There needs to be a group of bitbay enthusiasts formed that work together. There are some big holders and quite a few old legends all holding but sadly doing nothing to push the project forward.
Donations NEVER work, however ROI projects will certainly work far better.
I have suggested in before but I will suggest it again that david alters the pos rate to perhaps 15 rather than 20 per and takes the 5 as a dev/advertising fund and use these coins as incentives to bring in new interest via incentives to use the market place, sell things there and many other well thought out uses for those coins. It is the fairest way to group fund since those with most will give the most from their stakes. Since we have the voting feature we can all get together and think of the best ways to use those coins to bring on adoption and awareness.
